The Rhode Island Public Health Institute is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization. We conduct research and develop programs to solve complex public health challenges. Recent programs focus on food access, HIV and STD prevention and care, HCV elimination, physical education, and policy making through a "health in all policies" approach. Our work is both local and national... The Nourish RI Coalition was founded by the Rhode Island Public Health Institute in 2021 to advocate for state policies to improve access to healthy, affordable food and increase food and nutrition security for all Rhode Islanders... There are many ways to measure social impact. Our programs including Nourish Rhode Island, Food On The Move, Open Door Health, and Faith In Action benefit individuals, their communities, and address social and economic conditions that affect health.
