Jody Milanese is the vice president of government affairs at NSBA. She oversees all advocacy activities of the organization, and has years of expertise in the small-business taxation arena. Jody also heads up all advocacy efforts for the international trade arm of NSBA, the Small Business Exporters Association.

Larry Nannis

Larry Nannis of Framingham, Mass., was named the overall 2018 Lew Shattuck Small Business Advocate of the Year. An outspoken advocate on small-business issues for nearly 40 years, Nannis has testified before Congress, made annual trips to Washington, D.C. to advocate for pro-small-business policies, has mentored countless small-business advocates and was named a delegate to the 1995 White House Conference on Small Business.

Meryl S. Tiemann, director of outreach, joined the National Small Business Association in 2013. Meryl is responsible for the development and continued growth of the Leadership Council. Meryl also works with corporate partners developing strategies to provide the best return on investment for the partners and NSBA and its' members. Meryl brings thirty years of experience to NSBA with a focus on small-business membership and advocacy. Meryl began her career with the National Association of Manufacturers where she spent twenty years in various roles most notably vice president of the small and mid-sized manufacturing division of the association. In addition, Meryl served with the U.S. Chamber of Commerce, American Council of Engineering Companies and TechAmerica. Meryl has a passion for small-business. Outside of her work in the association world Meryl has owned two small-businesses.

Molly Brogan Day

Molly Brogan Day is the vice president of public affairs for the National Small Business Association (NSBA) where she oversees all external communications for the organization and serves as the official spokeswoman for NSBA. Ms. Day served as senior director of government affairs, handling advocacy and public outreach on health care, immigration, workplace issues and employee benefits. She also facilitated the NSBA Political Action Committee, and oversaw 2006 election campaign and endorsement activities. Prior to NSBA, Ms. Day managed professional networking and education for the American Chamber of Commerce Executives, and ran the small business services department within the Denver Metro Chamber of Commerce as well as coordinated training programs for the Denver Small Business Development Center. Day received a B.A. in Political Science and Education from the University of Northern Colorado.

Patrick Post joined the National Small Business Association in May of 1996 as the Vice President of Membership Development. In this capacity he is responsible for the overall marketing and membership function of NSBA and its councils. Prior to joining NSBA Patrick served as the Grassroots Membership Manager for the United States Chamber of Commerce. In this role he was responsible for developing and maintaining relationships with institutions in designated areas of the country that resulted in an increase political advocacy and membership organizations. Patrick earned his B.A. in International Affairs and a M.A. in International Economics from George Washington University.

Todd McCracken currently serves as president of National Small Business Association (NSBA), directing all activities of the advocacy-oriented association. Mr. McCracken became president of NSBA in 1997. Mr. McCracken started with the association in 1988, previously serving as vice president of government affairs. Mr. McCracken represents NSBA before the U.S. Congress and myriad other settings. As director of its government affairs arm, Mr. McCracken plays a key role in developing NSBA's policies on issues and the strategies in implementing them. Since coming to the association, Mr. McCracken has testified before Congress numerous times about issues ranging from fundamental health care reform to tax code restructuring. Mr. McCracken also is a frequent commentator in the media, having appeared on CNN, CNBC, Fox News Channel, MSNBC, and NBC Nightly News as well as in the Financial Times, The Wall Street Journal, The Washington Post, The New York Times, and myriad other publications. A native of New Mexico, Mr. McCracken is a graduate of Trinity University in San Antonio, Texas, with a B.A. in Economics.
