Doctor Michelle Dlugosz graduated from Seton Hall University where she received her Bachelor of Science degree. She then went on to graduate from the University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey, now Rutgers Dental School, in 2001 where she received her doctoral degree. After working in New York for 2 years she began working in Monmouth County where she has been ever since. Dr. Dlugosz's passion for dentistry and creating a warm, welcoming practice gave her the motivation to establish her own practice in 2005. Originally located in Wanamassa, Ocean Township, the practice moved to its current location on Monmouth Road in 2012 In order to stay up to date on the latest materials and dental technology, Dr Dlugosz takes a variety of continuing education courses every year. In addition to dental procedures, she became certified to do Botox and dermal fillers in 2012. Dr. Dlugosz believes excellent dentistry stems from talking with patients, educating them on their oral health and involving them in each step of their care. She enjoys explaining why she recommends different options and shows the full picture of how treatment will fit into the everyday lives of her patients. She strongly emphasizes preventative care that can help keep teeth healthy and strong for a lifetime, while providing guidance and maintenance plans to help each patient achieve a healthy smile. Oral hygiene habits form early in life, starting a path to a healthy mouth begins with early childhood dental care. Dr. Dlugosz participates in programs such as "Give Kids A Smile" and goes to local preschools to show kids how and why brushing is important and educate them about healthy snacks options. As a member of the American Dental Association, New Jersey Dental Association and Monmouth-Ocean Dental Society, Dr. Dlugosz stays up to date on techniques that can aid her patients and increase their comfort levels. She looks forward to helping you and your family with your dental health. In her spare time Dr.Dlugosz enjoys traveling and spending time with her husband and 3 children.
