OPEN MEMBRANE DATABASE

The Open Membrane Database (OMD) is an open-access, crowd-sourced resource with the performance and properties of 6090 reverse osmosis (RO) and solvent resistant nanofiltration (SRNF) membranes. The interactive charts and search functions allow easy data exploration and comparison of membrane performance, physicochemical properties and synthesis conditions... The Open Membrane Database is an international collaboration for benchmarking and analyzing water purification and desalination membranes... Currently, the OMD only contains RO and SRNF membranes. The goal is to later incorporate other membrane-based separations technologies such as forward osmosis (FO), and ion-exchange (IX) to name a few.
