Africans and people of African descent experience and are exposed to various socio-economic challenges at all levels in their respective societies over the years. Unfortunately, these problems cannot be solved by the governments alone. In the 21st century the rate at which information is disseminated has been enhanced dramatically through technology. OWN believes that knowledge is power and by creating awareness of the challenges and collaborating with the international community, minds of individuals are stirred up to design creative and effective solutions. We believe that we all have a part to play in transforming and positioning Africa and her Diaspora beyond the stereotypes.
