DANIEL GÓMEZ

Daniel is the Director of the Colombian Circular Economy Hub and has more than 10 years of experience as a professor of Environmental Engineering, and consultant in Integrated Waste Management and Environmental Management Systems. He is a researcher, speaker, workshop facilitator and writer. Daniel is passionate about sustainability and works helping organizations find their ways towards sustainability.

DR. KERON NILES

Dr Keron Niles is currently a Lecturer within the Institute of International Relations at the University of the West Indies, St Augustine Campus. Prior to that appointment, he was employed as the Business Unit Manager for Research and Policy at the Economic Development Advisory Board of Trinidad and Tobago. The secretariat to the Board is located within the Ministry of Planning and Development but the Board itself reported directly to the Office of the Prime Minister. He was directly responsible for the production of briefs that sought to outline the steps required to facilitate a sustainable green economy transition in Trinidad and Tobago. Within his portfolio, Dr Niles also had responsibility for promoting and facilitating economic diversification, particularly with respect to agriculture, the creative sector and the energy sector. As a certified youth worker and a published poet, Dr. Niles has been involved in international outreach projects in Guyana, Suriname, Haiti and Kenya. He holds a Bachelor's degree in Government (with minors in History and International Relations) from The University of West Indies and a Master's Degree in International Law from the University of Aberdeen.

JONELLE RENÉ JONES

Academically trained in Trinidad and Tobago and across Europe, Ms. Jones brings together theory and practice from the developed and developing worlds in order to apply the best knowledge and information towards solving the critical problems facing environmental management and sustainable development within the Caribbean.

KEN ALSTON

Ken is exceptionally skilled at presenting the business, social and environmental benefits of a Sustainable Circular Economy and Cradle to Cradle® design. Drawing on his extensive knowledge and experience of managing corporate programs, Mr. Alston has the authoritative voice demanded internationally by businesses and governments alike. He has an impressive 35+ years of work experience in the international private sector on topics of sustainable development. He started his professional career at S.C. Johnson as a Quality Audit Manager and ended his 20+ year tenure at S.C. Johnson as Global Director of Sustainable Product Innovation to join MBDC as Project Director Later he became at MBDC CEO and President of Consulting and Education Services until September 2017. Now he serves as Senior Advisor to CEPA and ASDF. Mr. Alston's role as senior consultant and educator allowed him to present for audiences from 50 to 1,000 and work with universities, start-up businesses to Fortune 500 companies, such as Waste Management, S.C. Johnson, Shaw and Steelcase. In addition to the United States, Ken has spoken extensively in Europe and Latin America including Belgium, Brazil, Chile, Colombia, the Netherlands and Peru. In 2015 he was chosen to tour Germany, presenting at several Earth Week events on behalf of the U.S. State Department. His unique experience and expertise, gives him the ability to integrate valuable content with the needs of the client to engage and educate all participants. Ken's analytical skills in combination with real world experience enables him to provide holistic and relevant advice and guidance in the areas of corporate decision making to implement and achieve economic, social and environmental value. Ken's passion is working with executives, designers and innovators to remake the way we make things. Ken has influenced more than 6,000 professionals through his informative presentations and product design workshops.

KEVIN DE CUBA - Founder

Kevin is the Director of the Americas Sustainable Development Foundation (ASDF) an official partner of Worldwatch Institute, a renowned think-tank based in Washington D.C.; and as an official partner of McDonough Braungart Design Chemistry (MBDC) an authorized representative for Cradle to Cradle® in Latin America and the Caribbean. Kevin is a Senior Fellow at Worldwatch with specific focus on the application of circular economic thinking and planning in island nations in the Caribbean; he is a Circular Policies Mentor at the Circular Economy Club; and is member of the Renewable Energy and Carbon Management Advisory Group of the Cradle to Cradle Standards Development Advisory Group at the Cradle to Cradle Products Innovation Institute (C2CPII) based in San Francisco, CA. In 2016, he co-founded and serves as first Chairman of the Circular Economy Platform of the Americas (CEP-Americas) to continue to contribute to the region's transition to achieve a global circular economy. Presently he is leading part of the organization of the inaugural Circular Economy Forum of the Americas (CEFA) which is the annual international Forum that gathers the circular economy community of the American Continent to discuss, share and learn from each other to build a circular conscious continent.
