Aaron DeRuyter

Bio Aaron DeRuyter is the Regional Director of Building Services at WeCare. Initially joining our facility staff as an electrical maintenance tech at Elm Manor, Aaron is one of the first WeCare team members. With over 12 years of experience working in healthcare facilities, Aaron brings his impressive range of skills, training, and attention to detail to every project. He ensures that all our essential services and equipment stay maintained, reliable, and in top-notch order to keep our residents safe. Aaron is a licensed general contractor. He is also certified in CPR, emergency water rescue, small-craft boating instruction, Life-Safety, and NFPA basic fire safety.

Ari Grinspan - CEO, Founder

Bio Ari Grinspan is the CEO and co-founder of WeCare HCC. With nearly 20 years of LTC experience, Ari plays an unparalleled role as the visionary, manager, and growth driver at the helm of our company. As CEO, Ari keeps all of WeCare's moving parts running smoothly: from the broad strokes of our company's big-picture to the smallest details in each facility. His focus on innovation and excellence leads WeCare towards our goal of exceptional long-term care and client-first service. Ari's leadership is built on strong personal relationships with his team. Throughout WeCare's growth, Ari maintains close involvement with our staff. His investment in trusted relationships enables him to encourage employee strengths and allow junior employees to fulfill their potential. Ari's background includes an established career in LTC spanning two decades. Over the years, he progressed from his initial LTC position to Licensed Nursing Home Administrator. In 2017, Ari partnered with Gedaliah to launch WeCare and raise quality standards for care on a national level. Ari Grinspan holds a B.A. in Business Management and Finance from CUNY Brooklyn.

Chris Laymon

Bio Chris Laymon is the Corporate Purchaser at WeCare and a long-time part of the Foltsbrook Center staff. Over the years, Chris progressed from his first role in food service to the HR/Payroll department and his current Corporate Purchaser position. Chris' diverse professional experience gives him a ground-up understanding of facility operations. His hands-on expertise enables him to make cost-effective decisions while taking multiple areas of facility needs into account. As a lifelong resident of Herkimer, NY, Chris brings an insider's hometown touch to our resident experience. Chris holds a B.S. in Business Administration from SUNY Oswego.

Bio Gedaliah Wielgus is the CFO and co-founder of WeCare HCC. With a decade of experience, Gedaliah drives our robust fiscal health with a strategic, performance-based approach. As our financial decision-maker, Gedaliah knows that the smallest details can make a big impact on a facility's bottom line. His fine-tuned approach accounts for each of those critical details to build profitable facility operations. Gedaliah combines his hands-on experience, sharp business acumen, and effective leadership skills to drive our success forward. He maintains a close relationship with all of our key employees - understanding their strengths, supporting development, and maintaining our positive work culture. Gedaliah's background includes public accounting at Marks Paneth LLP and CPA accreditation in the State of New York. As his career developed, Gedaliah transitioned from public accounting to the role of controller at a major insurance brokerage company. In 2017, he partnered with Ari to launch WeCare. Gedaliah holds a B.S. in Accounting from Touro College (Cum Laude). He is a certified public accountant in the state of New York.

Bio Jennifer (Jen) Gascon is an experienced Health Informatics and Case Management Director at WeCare Centers. She lives in Upstate NY with her family and yellow lab named Lexi. Jen loves all things outdoors and spending time with family.

Joe Pashley

Bio Joe Pashley is Corporate Director of Admissions at WeCare. With over 20 years of experience in long-term care services, Joe is an established leader among upstate New York care facilities. Over the years, Joe grew from his position as a social worker to case manager and finally Director of Social Services and Admissions in 2005. His unique blend of compassion, efficiency, and commitment to patient needs has helped him build a respected and well-known reputation in the Mohawk Valley community and beyond. Joe holds a B.A. in Psychology and Sociology from SUNY IT Utica. He began his long-term care career in 1999.

Lawrence (Larry) Millman

Lawrence (Larry) Millman is the Director of Pharmacy Services at WeCare. Joining the team in February 2021, Larry works closely with the WeCare regional team to provide safe and effective medication management for our residents.

Bio Larry has over 30 years of pharmacy experience - including 20 years providing pharmacy consultant services for residents in skilled nursing facilities. His pharmacy career path has ranged from home infusion pharmacist, hospital clinical pharmacist, and finally SNF Director of Pharmacy. Larry holds a B.S. in Pharmacy from the Arnold and Marie Schwartz College of Pharmacy Doctorate of Pharmacy from the Bernard J. Dunn School of Pharmacy. Larry is a Board-Certified Geriatric Pharmacist.

Michelle Pizarro-Rosado

Michelle is a healthcare services professional with over a decade of experience in the Post Acute Care Industry. She is a certified Director of Nursing Services active in the North Eastern United States Skilled Nursing community. Michelle has a proven ability to lead within the long term care sector collaborating with Administrators, Doctors, Operators, litigators, and local and federal regulators achieving the best possible outcomes for her patients and operators. Michelle is bilingual from the beautiful island of Puerto Rico, and holds a nursing degree obtained from Phillips Beth Israel School of Nursing in NYC. She is the CEO of Platinum Care Consultants Inc. which provides services to skilled nursing facilities assisting in improving their quality ratings and adequately capturing resident clinical acuity for reimbursement. She sits on the board of directors of the Happy Vibras Society non profit organization and is serving on the Expert Advisory Panel for American Association of Post Acute Care (AAPACN). Michelle has a self proclaimed passion for educating and reading really long novels while hanging out with her dogs!
