Prairie Woodworks was founded by Ron Skidmore and Steve Stenger in 1976. In June of 2017 the business was purchased by Ross Ambuehl, a 15 year employee, he alongside a talented group of men and women lead the company into the next generation. We currently employ 8 people. Our specialties include: cabinets, furniture, millwork, stairways, kitchen and bath, entertainment centers, and bars and wine cellars. From the drawing board to fabrication to finishing to complete installation, we've got you covered!... The many projects successfully completed by Prairie Woodworks in the past years are quite varied in scale and type. Commissions have ranged from residential/historical and commercial work to projects for the business and profesisonal community.
