Cristina Grigore

Cristina Grigore serves as the Director of Privacy for the GW Privacy Office. Her responsibilities include developing and maintaining relevant internal data privacy policies, procedures and training, partnering with the Information Security Team to ensure data privacy issues are considered at the outset of new projects, programs and initiatives, serving as a subject matter expert and developing and implementing a robust privacy compliance plan. Cristina has a strong background in Business Process Design and Management, Compliance, Audit and Process Controls. Cristina earned a Bachelor of Science and Masters of Science in Chemistry from the University of Bucharest, Romania, and is a Certified Information Privacy Professional (CIPP).

Dorinda Tucker

Dorinda Tucker serves as the Associate Vice President for Ethics, Compliance, and Risk and is the Data Privacy Officer for the university. She is responsible for leading the Ethics and Compliance Program and the Enterprise Risk Management Program as well as manages the Internal Audit outsourced engagement. As the Data Privacy Officer, she leads the university's Privacy Office in regulation compliance and personal information data protection programs. Dorinda has 30+ years experience working in areas of risk management, financial operations, and compliance serving higher education, corporate, and government industries and has extensive experience engaging with c-suite executives and trustees in complex environments. Prior to joining the George Washington University, Dorinda spent 20 years in management at IBM supporting the federal marketplace, primarily focused on operational improvement, compliance and controls and business transformation. Dorinda is a double alum from the University of Maryland, earning a Bachelor's of Science in Finance and an MBA. She is also a Certified Compliance and Ethics Professional (CCEP).
