PROJECT ABRAHAM

In 2015, Project Abraham was initiated by a small group of members of the Toronto community to help bring Yezidis to Canada. We have since become an independent registered charity with over 300 volunteers focusing on helping the most vulnerable refugees who have settled in the Greater Toronto Area (GTA)... Project Abraham works closely with settlement agencies in the GTA to support the most traumatized refugees... To provide aid and assistance to refugees and immigrants in need that are victims of war, persecution, unfair discrimination, or natural disasters by providing settlement services, education, counselling, and other support services for immigrants and refugees in need, including language instruction, employment training, job search programs, translation services, referral services, and information programs on Canadian culture and life.
