By 2005, Ross became a co-owner and director of TRC and in 2011, led the merger of TRC with Australian firm Planning for People, to form TRC Tourism. Having helped grow TRC and establish TRC Tourism as a truly Australasian firm, he moved on to freelance work in July 2015.
