SAAR (www.saar-foundation.org) was founded in January, 2019 by Dr. Shanthipriya, an ophthalmologist, who was diagnosed at a young age of 36, a case of Young Onset Parkinson's Disease (YOPD). After several years of self-denial, she decided to overcome her personal adversity by both sharing her story with the world and deciding to start a foundation, which would support and care for patients with PD - thus SAAR Foundation was born... At SAAR FOUNDATION we are a great team with a vision to provide rehabilitation and education for people with Parkinson's and other neurological disorders through physiotherapy, land, air,water-based exercises, yoga, dance, taichi and other alternative therapies. Conduct discussions, lectures and demonstrations on the many facets of neurological diseases. Establish support groups across Tamil Nadu and the rest of India...
