SCOPE LAB

Welcome to SCOPE Lab led by Prof. Shengxi Huang! We are interested in sensing, characterization and optoelectronic applications of nanostructures and quantum materials. We explore emerging nano and quantum materials, and study their novel properties via unique material engineering and characterization techniques. We also develop new biochemical sensing mechanisms by leveraging these new materials and their interface coupling with molecules. Our research converges multiple disciplines: physics, material engineering, physical chemistry, optical/electrical engineering, and bioengineering.
