Abbas H. Peera

Abbas is passionate about developing business & technology solutions for organizations of all kinds. In recent years, Abbas has focused on organizations which have a direct impact on the well being of those in need. This has led him toward collaborative opportunities with humanitarian and medical relief groups engaged in local & international activities. Abbas has a particular interest in open source computing with a decade of experience in content management, e-commerce, and electronic health records (EHR). He strives to identify ways in which rapidly evolving platforms can be used to create robust, sustainable, and cost-effective solutions. He aspires to use his interests in technology and quality improvement to promote healthy living and create better healthcare outcomes for communities with the greatest need. Abbas is a physician by day and IT developer by night. Prior to attending medical school, Abbas worked as a consultant for a life sciences company where he developed software applications aimed at making the human genome easier to navigate for researchers. In his spare time, he built web-based portals and information systems for non-profit & humanitarian organizations, and this continues to keep him busy when he's not in the hospital treating patients. He holds a bachelors degree in Biomedical Sciences & Biochemical Pharmacology from the University at Buffalo (State University of New York) and completed his Doctor of Medicine (MD) degree at St. Georges University School of Medicine. He returned to Buffalo to complete his residency training in Internal Medicine at the University at Buffalo where he was trained in treating a broad spectrum of acute and chronic medical conditions in both the inpatient and outpatient setting. Most recently, he assisted in the development of a free, volunteer-run medical clinic that serves patients irrespective of their ability to pay. He is working on creating a turn-key solution using modern technology platforms that other healthcare providers may use in order to start similar clinics in their own community. Abbas currently hold a Hospitalist Physician position with Inpatient Medicine Group (IMG) at Orlando Health. In his spare time Abbas enjoys spending time with his wife and three kids and the occasional game of tennis."

After close to 10 years, contributing to making DataCore Software a true leader in the SDS space, Amin Toussaint has now accepted an important role with Finalibrium, a small consulting firm helping companies with operational strategies including CRM deployment and integration , Integration platform as a service as well as Sales Performance Management tools assessment and deployment. Amin bring a set of unique skills that combine strong finance and analytics skills with a strong operational and leadership skills. Amin Toussaint was previously the Vice President of Worldwide Sales Operations at DataCore Software a developer of storage virtualization platforms. In this previous role, Amin was responsible for focused and targeted set of business activities and processes that empowered and enabled DataCore Worldwide sales organization to run effectively, efficiently and in support of the company business strategies and objectives. Prior to that role, Amin served as the Vice President of Bank of New York Mellon (09/2007-12/2009), where he oversaw the financial management, planning and analysis, accounting operation, and compliance and control of the Global Corporate Trust group. Amin joined his previous company, DataCore Software, as the Director of Operations (12/2009-10/2013), where he led the Global Sales Operation & Analytics team on behalf of Datacore Software and provided metrics, guidance, and analysis for the Senior Management team to improve processes regarding sales orders, receivables, and customer support. Amin then became the Senior Director of Operations (10/2013-10/2014), where he provided sales operation leadership and excellence for the leader in Software defined storage solutions. Amin also held various positions in Financial Management for world class organization such as Morgan Stanley, Barclays (Lehman Brothers), American Express and BNP-Paribas. He was born and raised in Belgium and is a graduate from the Brussels School of Management (ICHEC) and obtained his MBA from Pace University in New York. In spare time, Amin enjoys playing tennis and video games as well as traveling and discovering new cultures.

George Teixeira is the chairman of the board and a co-founder of DataCore Software. George has and continues to work closely with the CEO and management team to evaluate business and M&A opportunities and develop and provide inputs on key strategic initiatives for the organization. He co-founded DataCore in 1998 and served as its CEO and president throughout most of 2017 and then served as the Executive Chairman until January 2019, thereafter he retained his position as Chairman of the board. During his tenure, George worked as part of the core team responsible for developing DataCore's flagship technology which pioneered storage virtualization and helped define the software-defined storage industry as it is known today. At DataCore, George raised more than $100M over 4 founding rounds including the last round which raised $30M in 2008, from Insight Ventures and Updata Partners. The company also has generated over $50M through its business development, strategic industry investors and OEM deals with industry leaders including Hitachi, Fujitsu Softek, Intel, Eisoo and Wipro. The company, between 2008 and 2018 maintained a compounded growth rate in the double digits and remained cash profitable each year. George directed a team of over 200 employees, with headquarters in Fort Lauderdale, FL and with major offices and development centers located within Germany, France, UK, Italy, Bulgaria, Japan, Australia, Taiwan. The company built a distribution and reseller network of over 600 partners to leverage sales and marketing worldwide. DataCore customer service won a number of awards and achieved industry high rankings for customer satisfaction and renewal rates. DataCore's proven and reliable solutions have helped more than 10,000 customers, with over 25,000 software licenses deployed at multiple customer sites, eliminate downtime and increase storage utilization at higher performance while reducing costs by 50 percent or more. Additionally, George held a number of senior management positions at the Computer Systems Division of Gould Electronics, including Director Product Management, Director Workstation Business Line and Manager of the Pricing and Competitive Analysis department. Previously, he had worked as an IBM computer operator at the Boca Raton hospital data center and had served as an adjunct instructor at Florida Atlantic University working in the Business Administration and Information Processing department. During his earlier years, George worked customer service roles at Southeast Banks and was the Hotel Manager for the Beach Terrace Resort where he managed all aspects of the resort complex. George, in addition to completing multiple graduate level computer science and biology courses, received a BS in Biology, a BA in Chemistry and an MBA from Florida Atlantic University. George is proud of the people and culture that he helped create at DataCore. He has always enjoyed engaging directly with end-users and industry experts to learn, and contribute new ways to help them solve IT problems. Currently, George's major areas of research and investigation are centered on container-based data services, data analytics and artificial intelligence applications using machine learning and robotic process automation. Irfan A. Amin

Irfan is a talented young individual currently attending the engineering program at Lyman High School in Florida and is a current member of NHSA (National Honor Society Association).Passionate about technology and science, Irfan spend most of his days learning new skills and developing ideas to improve himself and the world around him. Avid traveler, Irfan has climbed mount Kilimanjaro and has journeyed multiple times to Africa and Europe where he enjoyed meeting new people and discovering new cultures. In his spare time, Irfan practice the art of Tae Kwon do and has reached the rank of 1st Dan and he also plays soccer with the community at large Irfan also enjoys reading different types of novels and writing his own poetry when time permits. As a results, Irfan has partnered with S.P.A.R.K.S where he will be leading the youth engagement initiative and discuss important topics such as bullying, peer pressure and depression among the youth

Her career began with the New York City Board of Education, as a school based therapist servicing children with Autism /Developmental delays/ and disorders engage in learning and playing, the primary occupation of children. Today she services the adult population assisting in recovery following illness and surgical intervention. She remains passionate about helping people engage in living life to the fullest of their abilities. Marie Alice is also a wife and mother and she enjoys spending quality time with her immediate and extended family. Murtaza Shaukatali

Murtaza Shaukatali completed his Bachelors in Business Administration from Bryant University RI, in 2000 and thereafter worked at Merrill Lynch for a while and returned back to India to join family business. There, he became associated with KSI Medical Aid & Welfare Society, which, at that time, was running under the leadership of his late father Mr. Shaukatali S. Mewawala. In 2003, he moved to Dubai and was involved in raising funds for charity to help aid in education for underprivileged children. In 2015, after the demise of his father, he took over the leadership of the Trust and has continued to ensure that the education aid for students are met, so that no child suffers from the lack of education. He restarted the medical assistance program, which had been stopped due to lack of funds but during Covid-2020 there was a need and he restarted this program with a small fund and this service has steadily increased. He hopes to continue the efforts to ensure that the aid reaches maximum deserving beneficiaries in the field of education and medical aid.
