Aksana Zabara

Aksana leads the investment analytics group. In this role, she is responsible for portfolio evaluation and investment analysis and supports the Co-CIOs on investment policy development work. She also contributes to Strategic's opportunistic investment efforts. Arlynn J. Barrios

Arlynn is responsible for supporting the accounting, tax and regulatory reporting requirements of Strategic's clients and managing client onboarding. Prior to joining Strategic, she held various positions at The Carlyle Group, most recently serving as Vice President overseeing International Corporate Private Equity Funds. She previously worked in accounting and audit positions at Marriott International and PricewaterhouseCooper LLP. Arlynn holds a B.S. in Commerce with a concentration in Accounting from the University of Virginia, McIntire School of Commerce.

Brian A. Murdock - CEO, President

Brian is the President and Chief Executive Officer of Strategic and a member of its Board of Managers. Brian was previously the Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of TD Asset Management based in Toronto and prior to that the President and Chief Executive Officer of New York Life Investment Management in New York. He spent 25 years at Merrill Lynch as a Portfolio Manager, Chief Investment Officer and Regional Executive Officer based in London, Hong Kong and Tokyo. His last role at Merrill Lynch was Chief Operating Officer and Head of the U.S. asset management business based in Princeton, New Jersey. Brian has served on a number of non-profit boards. He currently serves as President of the Craigielea Educational Fund at Cornell University and as Trustee for the National Review Institute. Brian is also on the advisory boards for the CFA Society of Washington D.C. and is a member of the Mount Vernon Life Guard Society. Brian has been published in magazines and newspapers in several countries including India, China, and the UK, and has appeared many times on Bloomberg, Asia Business News and CNBC. He holds a B.S. from Cornell University.

Chris Parker

Chris is a member of the Portfolio Management team implementing Strategic's portfolio positioning and in-house trading, strategic policy setting, and pension management and analytics. He previously served as a member of the fixed income team conducting manager research and market analysis. Prior to joining Strategic, his internships included serving as a Financial Analyst at Practice Management Associates and as a Research Analyst at Virginia Capital Partners. He holds a B.S. in Business (concentration in Finance) and a B.S. in Accounting from Virginia Commonwealth University. Chris is a CFA charterholder and a member of the CFA Society of Washington, D.C.

Christopher Holland

Chris is a member of the Portfolio Management team with broad responsibilities including contributing to and communicating Strategic's investment outlook, analyzing fixed income markets, and managing Strategic's in-house trading activity. Prior to joining Strategic, Chris was a Senior Portfolio Manager at Strategic Fixed Income, where he managed global fixed income portfolios and co-managed a global macro hedge fund. Christopher Lvoff

Chris is a member of the Office of the CIO, responsible for all aspects of Strategic's investment process, portfolios, and performance. Chris also supports Strategic's research efforts in strategic asset allocation, dynamic asset allocation, liability driven investment, and risk budgeting. He works closely with investment, research, and analytical staff in developing, integrating, and implementing investment policy for the firm's clients. Prior to joining Strategic, he was Managing Director and Senior Portfolio Manager of the Goldman Sachs Asset Management Multi-Asset Solutions team in New York, working with endowments, foundations, pensions, financial intermediaries, and sovereign institutions in designing, implementing, and overseeing multi-asset portfolios. Prior to Goldman Sachs, he worked at Towers Perrin in Philadelphia as an Actuarial Associate and consultant. Chris holds a B.S. in Economics from the Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania with concentrations in Actuarial Science and Accounting. He is a CFA charterholder, member of the New York Society of Security Analysts, and an Associate of the Society of Actuaries (ASA).

Christopher P. Pond

David J. Ordoobadi

David works closely with the investment and research teams to develop and implement investment solutions that meet clients' objectives. He also contributes to the firm's investment teams and economic research. Prior to joining Strategic, David was Assistant Director in the Finance Department at the International Monetary Fund (IMF), where he was responsible for developing strategies to broaden and diversify the IMF's sources of income and managing investments totaling over $20 billion. At various times during his 22-year career at the IMF, David was one of the principal authors of the IMF's Global Financial Stability Report, managed the IMF's pension fund portfolio of $2 billion, and analyzed financial and macroeconomic developments in countries in Africa, Asia, and Europe. He serves on the Investment and Finance Committee for the Community Fund for Oceana County, Michigan, and formerly served on the Board of Directors of the Bank-Fund Staff Federal Credit Union. He holds an M.B.A. from the Institut Européen d'Administration des Affaires in Fontainebleau, France, a postgraduate diploma from the London School of Economics, an M.Phil. from Oxford University, and a B.A. from Bowdoin College. David is a CFA charterholder and a member of the CFA Society of Washington, D.C. Eric J. Bendickson

Jane Kerr

She has over 19 years of investment industry experience, including more than 12 years focused on bringing OCIO services to institutional investors. Prior to joining Strategic, Jane served as Regional Director at SEI, where she focused on business development for OCIO services in the non-profit marketplace. Jason Copelas

Jason focuses on public equity manager due diligence and monitoring. Prior to joining Strategic, he served as Director of Investments at the Inova Health System Investment Office, which he launched with two colleagues. He has also worked at Cambridge Associates as an Investment Director, at NERA Economic Consulting, and he interned in the Investment Offices of both Williams College and Princeton University. Jason holds an M.B.A. from Yale University and a B.A. in Economics and Mathematics from Williams College. He is a CFA charterholder and a member of the CFA Society of Washington, D.C.

Prior to AEGON, Jason worked as Assistant Vice President at Jefferson-Pilot Life Insurance Company in annuity product development. He holds an M.B.A. from Wake Forest University and a B.S. in Mathematical Sciences from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. Jeffrey S. Nasser

Jeff is a member of the Office of the CIO, assuming responsibility with the Co-Chief Investment Officers for all aspects of the firm's investment process, portfolio construction, and implementation in client portfolios. Additionally, he focuses on manager sourcing, selection, and monitoring across private equity, venture capital, and real estate. He also co-leads Strategic's opportunistic investment efforts. Prior to joining Strategic, Jeff spent ten years at PricewaterhouseCoopers in its Financial Markets advisory practice, where he advised private equity firms, sovereign wealth funds, REITs, and banks. Before that, he was a manager at Alcatel-Lucent, where he worked in the finance organization, including the pension fund. Jeff serves on the Advisory Investment Committee for Women of the World Endowment.

Joshua O'Brien

Josh leads Strategic's Operations team. He is responsible for overseeing all of the operational aspects of Strategic's investment process, including trading related activity; position and cash management; custody oversight; and investment accounting, performance calculations, Global Investment Performance Standards (GIPS®) Compliance, and client reporting. Prior to this role, Josh was responsible for managing the proper execution of investment decisions across client portfolios; assessing existing processes and workflows within the investment process; and recommending and overseeing the implementation of process and technology enhancements. He began his career at Strategic as an Investment Performance Analyst. Prior to joining Strategic, Josh oversaw residential development projects in the real estate industry. He holds an M.B.A. from Georgetown University's McDonough School of Business, a B.S. in Finance & International Business and a B.S. in Spanish from Pennsylvania State University. Justin R. Scher - CTO

Justin manages Strategic's Information Technology team. In this role, he is responsible for Strategic's network infrastructure, software development, cybersecurity program and the firm's business continuity and disaster recovery plan. He is also responsible for analyzing the firm's business and functional requirements for all technology projects, identifying solutions, and managing the implementation and integration of new technologies. Prior to joining Strategic, he worked for AllianceBernstein as V.P., Technology and Relationship Manager, responsible for managing projects and implementing technical solutions for Institutional Investment Management and Bernstein Global Wealth Management. Kendall K. Rose

Prior to joining Strategic, he was the Chief Investment Officer of Mercer's not-for-profit institutional client team, which managed $4 billion in discretionary assets for over thirty clients. Ken formerly served as Investment Committee Chair and a member of the Board of Directors of The Wheeler School, a member of the Rhode Island Public Radio Board of Directors, and on the Lifespan Hospitals Investment Committee. Laura G. Frymark

Patrick A. Torrey

Paul S. Kramer

Richard M. Behler

Prior to joining Strategic, he served eight years as a Director, Portfolio Manager at Hirtle, Callaghan & Co, where he worked with the largest institutional clients of the firm and was a voting member of the Investment Policy Committee. He has also held senior portfolio manager positions at Chartwell Investment Partners and was a Managing Director at Morgan Stanley Investment Management, where he managed U.S. Large Cap Value Portfolios. Before Morgan Stanley, he was a Hedge Fund Manager at Moore Capital Management, LLC and a "sell-side" Securities Analyst at Merrill Lynch & Co. in New York. Rick has a Ph.D. and an M.A. in Economics from the University of Notre Dame and a B.S. in Economics from Villanova University.
