TANG SOO DO

The art of Tang Soo Do was founded by Grandmaster Hwang Kee when he established Persatuan Moo Duk Kwan at Seoul, Korea in 1945. From 1962, the art spread to the world. Places that adapted the art of Tang Soo Do are The United States of America, Germany, United Kingdom, Malaysia, Brunei, Italy, Greece, Spain, Portugal, Philippines, and other countries... Tang Soo Do is a martial art which trains in attacking and defending with bare hands and feet. Each training begins with warming up exercises - stretching and loosening of muscles and joints to increase flexibility and agility. During training, students are taught in punching, blocking, kicking, and combinations of hand and kicking techniques according to their grades so that the students could concentrate in developing the techniques correctly with the proper methods of breathing, balance, speed and power.
