Job Titles:
- Category IV Vibration Analyst
Subba Rao has more than 30 years experience in vibration data collection, analysis and dynamic balancing of all types of rotating machinery including large turbo- machinery like steam turbines (up to 500 MW) and gas turbines (frame 9E & 9FA of GE make), centrifugal compressors (Elliott, Nuvo Pignone etc). He has proctored more than 250 people for Category II, III and IV Vibration Analyst certifications provided by Vibration Institute, USA.
Kiran has over 15 years' experience spanning across several areas of product development and specialises in stress analysis and vibration testing. He did his PhD from University of Nottingham, sponsored by Rolls-Royce plc, in the area of simulation of viscoelastc damping for minimising vibrations and has three patents.
Bhaskara Sarma has over 40 years experience in the field of rotordynamics and is expert in handling vibration problems in turbomachinery. He has written his own software to perform lateral and torsional analysis including linear and non linear dynamics. He supported development of 100 KW steam turbine to 5 MW steam turbines and provided consultancy in the area of structural dynamics to complex trouble shooting.
Rangachari has over 35 years experience in inducting Contemporary and Futuristic Marine Technologies for the Navy and has held pivotal positions covering Design, Operation, Maintenance and Overall Life Cycle Management of Marine Engineering Propulsion Plant Equipment, Power Generation, Auxiliaries and Engineering Systems - for Warships and Submarines. He actively served on several Combat Platforms as a Marine Engineer Officer in various Ranks. Essentially a Mechanical Engineer, his other Educational Qualifications include a PhD in "Systems and Control Engineering" from IIT(Mumbai), an MS in Advanced Marine Engineering from UK, an MPhil and an MSc on Defence Studies. He is adept in Mathematical Modelling of Marine Propulsion Plants and evinces keen interest in indigenous Design of Marine Equipment, Auxiliaries and Systems including their Condition Monitoring and Fault Diagnostics.
