The Dunes Ladakh is a lean luxury boutique hotel located in Hundar village of Nubra, close to Siachen glacier. Hundar village is located around 160 KM from Leh after crossing the world highest motorable road -Khardungla (18,000 feet). Nubra valley is one of the most sought-after tourist destinations in Ladakh. The Dunes is a heaven for mountain lover, who chose to experience luxury in budget. The famous Sand-Dunes of Hundar is located 1.5 km away from the Hotel... The hotel is designed to gain maximum heat from the sun and store excessive energy through the maximum use of high thermal mass material in construction. However, often this is not sufficient to provide a comfortable temperature, especially during peak winter months, so we have installed a steam-based heating system. We also provide a 24-hour power supply from our solar power plant.
