Aimee Funk

Aimee began her career in 1996 at Smith Barney in San Diego. In 2006, she relocated with her family to Portland Oregon and began working at the Smith Barney office in Portland. Aimee has been working at RBC Wealth Management since 2012; she has passed the Series 7, 63 and 65 license exams. Away from work, Aimee is kept busy with her husband Matthew, and their three children; Nate, Andrew, and Cambria.

Cyndy Ranzau

Job Titles:

Cyndy serves as a resource for your financial advisor in determining and developing wealth transfer strategies for high-net-worth clients in areas including estate strategies, lifetime giving, personal trust planning, charitable giving, concentrated equity position diversification and employee stock options. In this role, Cyndy partners with financial advisors to meet with individual clients and their attorneys and/or accountants, as well as present at client seminars.

Debbie Jenkins

Debbie has been in the financial service industry since 1986. She joined RBC Wealth Management in 2021, where she utilizes her knowledge and broad range of industry experience to assist clients with a wide array of administrative and service needs. Debbie earned her Bachelor of Arts degree in sociology with a minor in criminology from the University of Utah in Salt Lake City. She is originally from Utah, but was raised in California and made her home in Arizona for 12 years. In January 2020, Debbie moved to Oregon to join the team. An avid sports enthusiast, Debbie loves football and is a committed spectator of all sports. Her hobbies include golf, biking and spending as much time as possible with her four-legged friend, Annie. She lives in Oregon City with her partner, Gary.

Katrina Stump

Katrina works closely with individuals and multiple generations of families, helping them discern their financial goals and pursue those objectives with care and efficiency. Her goal is to help simplify clients' financial lives so that they can spend time doing what they enjoy most. An engaged listener, Katrina seeks to understand the unique circumstances of each client and family. Following a disciplined planning and investment process, she applies her knowledge and insights to assist with pursuing meaningful goals and financial milestones. Katrina offers an instinctive understanding for people and their needs. She takes great satisfaction in being helpful and proactive. Katrina's areas of focus include pre- and post-retirement planning, cash flow analysis and budgeting, tailored investment management, risk assessment and next-generation stewardship. Katrina believes that one of her differentiating skills is her ability to listen to clients, synthesize their priorities and translate that input into a concrete plan for moving forward. She relates well to clients from diverse paths and life stages, helping clients-and often their beneficiaries-define what they want to achieve with their wealth, both for themselves and the people they love. Katrina joined RBC Wealth Management in 2021. Prior to RBC Wealth Management, she started in a management support role at Merrill Lynch in 2011, moving to a financial advisor role in 2014. She earned her Bachelor of Science degree in commerce, graduating with honors from Santa Clara University. Katrina lives in Camas, Washington, with her husband, Garret, and their two young sons. In her free time, she enjoys spending time outside with her active family and visiting with good friends.

Larry Vanlaningham

A third generation financial advisor, Larry began his career in 1980 with EF Hutton after graduating from the University of Oregon. Over the years he has studied continually to maintain a deep understanding of the challenges of asset protection, asset allocation, retirement planning and estate planning in changing economic environments. Larry completed the Accredited Wealth Manager (AWM) Program, a professional designation specifically designed for RBC Wealth Management in partnership with the Academy of Multidisciplinary Practice, Inc. and the Estate and Wealth Management Strategies Institute at Michigan State University. She has built long-standing relationships with our clients and leverages her deep understanding of the resources and capabilities offered by RBC Wealth Management and our team to the benefit of clients. Mimi received a Bachelor of Science degree in business finance from Portland State University. In her free time, she enjoys spending time with friends and family, travelling, trying different restaurants and seeing Broadway musicals. As a native Oregonian, Mimi has lived in Portland her whole life.

Patrick Cummings - Founder

He is adept at unwinding the intersection of an entrepreneur's personal and professional finances, encompassing multiple areas: cash flow analysis, pre- and post-liquidity event strategies, business succession planning, tax-sensitive investment management, credit and lending and trust and estate planning services. Rachel Akerson

Rachel began her financial services career in 2005 with Bank of America, later joining the team in 2015. Rachel's primary focus is on making sure our clients have an excellent experience working with our team. As part of that role, she proactively reaches out to our clients to confirm they are hearing from us when and in the manner they prefer. She is also very tech-savvy and is our clients' first stop for assistance with our online capabilities. Rachel has said that "the most important thing to me is helping to confirm every client receives the highest level of service." It is this positive, proactive attitude that our clients really love about working with her. Rachel and her husband, Cole, both grew up in Bend, and now reside in Portland with their daughter, Brooklynn. They love to travel and visit new places as often as possible.

Rob Chavez

He offers hands-on experience in multiple aspects of wealth management, from investment strategy and risk analysis, to retirement planning, wealth transfer and lending. Rob has extensive experience advising individuals who are nearing-or already in-retirement. His areas of focus include long-term planning, cash flow analysis, portfolio strategy and down-side risk mitigation. Having guided a number of individuals and families over the course of his career, Rob draws on the practices that have proven effective for similarly situated clients. Robert Groth

Robert helps families, businesses and entrepreneurs understand all aspects of their financial decisions. He works with clients to help simplify and clarify a strategic wealth plan, helping them to achieve their goals. His entrepreneurial background is an asset that helps add value to the wealth planning process. In 2020, Robert became a financial advisor, but prior to joining RBC Wealth Management, he spent more than 20 years in software, services and hardware technology companies, including Hewlett Packard, Sun Microsystems (now Oracle) and Digital River. He also helped start companies from the ground floor. For example, Robert is a founding member of a veterinary practice management software company, VetFM. Robert was born and raised in Portland, Oregon, and moved to Palo Alto, California, to attend Stanford, where he graduated with a degree in electrical engineering. After school, he settled in Folsom, California. Outside of the office, Robert is actively involved in his community. He is a board member for The Friends of the Folsom Zoo Sanctuary and Hope for a Better Life. Robert also volunteers time as a mentor for the Growth Factory in Sacramento, which is an accelerator for new businesses. He lives with his wife, Michele, their daughter, Elena, and Goldendoodle, Sadie. In his free time, he enjoys bicycling and skiing
