Carla Vocatura

Carla provides administrative support and customer service for the team. She began her career in the financial industry in 1992 with Prudential Securities in Seattle, Washington. There she gained operations experience as the cashier and credit desk clerk before transitioning to a sales assistant position supporting five financial advisors. In 1994, she transferred to California for the opportunity to begin working with Nicholas Crane at Prudential Securities and later at RBC Wealth Management. Carla was born in Washington State and attended the International Air Academy in Vancouver, Washington where she studied airline operations, reservations, ticketing and customer service. She is married and has a son and two daughters.

Christine Boyd

Christine began her career in the financial services industry in operations at Prudential Securities in 1998. She was recruited to AG Edwards in 1999 where she obtained her Series 7 and 63 securities licenses while assisting both the branch manager and the operations manager and in 2005, moved to RBC Wealth Management. She became the branch service manager in 2010, but retained her interest in trading. Therefore, in August 2016, she earned her investment associate title and now she mainly performs trading functions. Christine was recognized with RBC Wealth Management's 2016 third-quarter Award of Excellence for her outstanding service. Christine is a California native, growing up in Lake Tahoe and attending UC Davis as an animal science major. In her spare time, she practices yoga, enjoys running and being outdoors and she occasionally shows dogs. Her true passion is with horses, particularly Thoroughbreds, riding and showing hunter jumpers. She volunteers with the non-profit, TROTT USA, providing new vocations for retiring racehorses.

David S. Tucker

David began working in the financial services industry in 1991 at Sutro & Co., now RBC Wealth Management. While serving a six-year tour in the U.S. Air Force, he worked and studied communications, electronic and mechanical engineering through The College of the Air Force and University of Michigan. David graduated from California State University, Sacramento with a Bachelor of Arts degree in both business administration and finance. He earned the Advanced Wealth Manager (AWM) designation at RBC Wealth Management through Michigan State University, where he studied advanced wealth management, concentrating in the areas of business and retirement planning, insurance solutions, charitable giving, advanced investment strategies and estate and trust planning strategies. David has extensive direct, hands-on and consulting experience in business development and management of small businesses. He passed the Series 7, 63 and 65 exams and holds a California insurance license. David is also a member of RBC Wealth Management's Fixed Income Advisory Council, The RBC Community Engagement Board and RBC Wealth Management's Chairman's Council. David is a member of the Blackhawk Country Club and the PGA West Country Club, past president of the Oakland Executive Association, former treasurer of the Oakland Kiwanis and member of the Golden Gate Wine Society, the Keiretsu Forum, Live Oak Lodge Masons of California and the Northern California Scholarship Foundation. David loves providing charitable services for many local organizations. David lives in Danville with his wife, Nicole and their two children.

Mike Isola

Mike started in the financial service industry in 1998. He passed the Series 7 and 63 FINRA exams and maintains his life and health insurance licenses. After completing the extensive curriculum required, Mike earned the CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ certificate. CFP® professionals are dedicated of the highest level of service and ethical standards. The intensive program requirements helped him gain a greater understanding of risk management techniques, as well as insurance, taxes, estate and retirement planning and investments. These topics of study allow CFP® professionals to enhance their client relationships and add value toward helping clients achieve their financial objectives. Mike is a founding member of Fore Our Schools Foundation. The foundation, formed in 2007, organizes community events to raise funds to support the public schools within the Moraga School District. Mike lives in Moraga with his wife, Melissa, and their two children. When he gets free time, Mike enjoys many outdoor activities.

Nanette Flanagan

Nanette Flanagan has been a professional in the financial services industry for over 30 years. Her career began in 1989 at the Pacific Stock Exchange Equity Floor (PSE). At PSE she held a number of positions including; records clerk, discount brokerage wire operator, and managed a post, trading a variety of stocks. Nanette is a former member of the Pacific Stock Exchange, and Boston Stock Exchange. In December of 2002, she joined The Tucker Group at RBC Dain Rauscher in Oakland, California, which ultimately became RBC Wealth Management in 2008. Her primary objective is to provide excellent customer service to the client and sales support to the advisors by carrying out administrative responsibilities. In 2014 she won a quarterly RBC Award of Excellence for her outstanding performance. Nanette passed the Series 7, 63 and 65 exams. Nanette and her partner of 30 years, Michael, reside in Crockett and enjoy the outdoors, exercising, weekend trips, and time with the family.

Nick Crane

Raised outside New York City where his father worked on Wall Street, Nick attended university in Vienna, Austria at the Institute for European Studies, where he studied international economics and became fluent in the German language. In 1981, he graduated from California State University, Fullerton with a Bachelor of Arts degree in business administration with a concentration in finance. He began his investment career with Merrill Lynch in 1982 and in 1991 joined Prudential Securities (now Wells Fargo Advisors). In 1999, he went on to join RBC Wealth Management. At each firm he was considered a top achiever and has held the titles of Senior Financial Advisor, First Vice President, Senior Portfolio Manager and Managing Director. Nick's business philosophy is to provide excellent service and advice while always putting the customer's interests first. That approach has led to a thriving practice, as indicated by the fact that he has grown his business every year - in both good markets and bad. His integrity and concern for his clients is demonstrated by his clean regulatory record. His assistant, Carla, has been with him for 24 years. Her competence and courtesy are some of the reasons the team has maintained a high level of client retention over the years.

Stephen Butterfield

Stephen was born in England and served in the British military before moving to the United States. He joined RBC Wealth Management in 2018, but his recent experience was in sales and service, including work for Ascentis Corporation, which specializes in human capital management software. Stephen is no stranger to financial services. He started his brokerage career with Edward J. Hennessy in San Francisco, California, in 1989. He was also an equity trader for Bank of America investment services and a trade liaison for Charles Schwab, where he supervised an investment platform. After that, Stephen was a relationship manager for Thomson Reuters. Stephen has passed the Series 7, 9 and 10 exams. Stephen and his wife, Tomoko, raised two children. Hiroki is working on his own startup company and Mayuko is a consultant for Bain and Company. Stephen, in his spare time, is an avid fisherman and harvests honey from bees he raises in his yard in Pleasant Hill.
