Woman-owned and mostly run, Urban Village Designs LLC is a for-benefit landscaping company inspired by the idea that sustainable and regenerative culture can and should exist in the urban environment. The urban village, to be a vibrant and thriving community experience, is in desperate need for radical healing to both place and people. In order for our "urban villages" to be regenerative, we must consider a multi-dimensional approach to working on the land, while we nurture personal healing, as well as our relationship to both nature and community... Our mission is to support community members in seeing ourselves as being in deep relationship to the land, and to be mindful about how we work with the earth in order to care for the long-term well-being of all. This relationship is a co-creative and mutually beneficial partnership that supports healthy, place-based living for both humans and the more/other-than-humans that co-exist with us on these lands...
