Dr. Elizabeth Park

Dr. Liz Park grew up in Salt Lake City, Utah. She attended Utah State University for her Bachelor of Science majoring in animal science and joined the dual program with Washington State University for her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree. She is excited to start her career as a small animal veterinarian here in the Salt Lake Valley and feels great to be back home. Dr. Park's love of science and veterinary medicine started at a young age and she spent her free days volunteering at various animal shelters and the Tracy Aviary. Dr. Park's professional interests include general surgery, preventative care, internal medicine, and radiology. In her free time, Dr. Park enjoys painting, cooking, gaming, and longboarding. She's always open to trying new things so let her know what she should try next!

Dr. Graham Hookano

Dr. Graham Hookano graduated from Midwestern University in Arizona in 2023. He enjoys working with clients, giving the scratches to the pets and has a strong interest in orthopedic surgery. He was excited to receive the ACVS (American College of Veterinary Surgeons) Foundation award for ‘Excellence in Small Animal Surgery' as a vet student. Prior to vet school, Dr. Graham worked as a veterinary technician since 2009. During his free time, Dr. Graham enjoys hanging out with his wife and their two Greater Swiss Mountain dogs. One of his hobbies is metal fabrication and he is currently building an off-road race truck. He is an adrenaline junkie who likes to downhill mountain bike, race dirtbikes, and do mixed martial arts. He is pumped to be at West Jordan Veterinary Hospital to help you and your pet(s)!

Dr. Kevin Nemelka

Dr. Kevin Nemelka is West Jordan Veterinary Hospital's new Managing Veterinarian as of July 2023 and a Salt Lake City native. Dr. Nemelka began his tenure at West Jordan in 2021 as a relief doctor and eventually joined the team full-time, naturally being a mentor and building meaningful relationships with his patients and pet owners over time. Dr. Nemelka completed his undergrad at the University of Utah and received his Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine from Auburn University, as well as holding title of Diplomate, American College of Laboratory Animal Medicine - always staying up to date and conducting research on veterinary medicine's newest findings. Alongside this, Dr. Nemelka was also a colonel of the US Army where he served 20 years. When outside of work, Dr. Nemelka enjoys fishing, sports, and spending time with his family.

Dr. Ross Anderson

Dr. Ross Anderson received his Bachelor of Science in Animal Science and his Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine from Colorado State University. Prior to joining West Jordan Veterinary Hospital, Dr. Anderson spent twenty years as the Hogle Zoo Veterinarian and sixteen years managing a small animal and exotic practice. Dr. Anderson spends his free time living the dream on a gentleman's farm, creating a unique and eclectic home with his wife, writing poetry, collecting almost everything, and generally being a kid once again.
