WXVU is a student-run college radio station at Villanova University in Villanova, PA. WXVU went on the air in 1991 when the Federal Communications Commission (FCC) granted an educational license to Villanova University. Our on-air slogan is ‘V 89-1, The Roar'!... WXV&U Health, the first nurse-led health and well-being department in college radio. This initiative is in collaboration with the Office of Health Promotion, Villanova Nurses from the M.
