Abigail joined LawPlus in March 2020. She has 19 years experience as a Legal Secretary. Outside of LawPlus, she is a big family girl with two beautiful, teenage children.
Chris Hopson - Founder, Managing Director

Chris is a founding Director of LawPlus, with overall responsibility for the direction of the business. Chris takes a hands-on approach to everything that happens at LawPlus, directly driving regulatory compliance, operations and IT improvements, HR and team performance with astute commercial awareness.
Chris has direct responsibility for recruitment and all on boarding processes and has developed induction and training procedures resulting in high staff retention. He is legislatively proficient and compliant in SRA, ICO, TPS, MPS, DMA and OFCOM regulations and retains overall responsibility for data processing, data management, and service level reporting.
Away from LawPlus, Chris enjoys snooker, yoga, keeping fit and going to gigs.
Dan is our Financial Claims Manager, joining us in March 2020. Dan has over eight years' of claims management experience and ensures all our clients have a hassle-free experience while we work to get them the compensation they deserve.
Outside of LawPlus, Dan enjoys walking his dogs and playing badminton and table tennis.
Danielle joined LawPlus in January 2022, bringing over 10 years of experience in her field to the team. Away from work, Danielle's a busy taxi driver for her two children, taking them to football, cricket, gymnastics, and various other hobbies and events.

Emma is a founding partner and Finance Director of LawPlus. She has a long-proven history in finance within regulated businesses.
Outside of LawPlus, Emma is a devoted mother and has a passion for animals.
Hayley joined the business in March 2020 and brings over 30 years of experience in legal accounts management to the team. Away from LawPlus, Hayley is a proud dog owner and keen swimmer - when not walking the dog!
Kris joined the business in March 2020 and has over 11 years' experience within claims management. Kris deals with client enquiries about mis-sold pensions, helping clients from start to finish where we believe compensation is due.
Outside of LawPlus, Kris enjoys following Manchester City and music.
Matthew Reynard - Chief Legal Officer, Founder

Matthew is a founding Director of LawPlus and is our Head of Legal Services. He qualified as a Solicitor in 1991 and founded his own firm in 2001, building a strong reputation for the delivery of innovative, efficient and compassionate legal services. Matthew has worked on commercial litigation, data protection, housing disrepair, medical negligence and personal injury cases. He has acted for many of the key players in these areas and has a particular interest in fighting for the rights of individuals against public sector bodies and private companies.
Matthew is our Compliance Officer for Legal Practice pursuant to the Solicitors Regulation Authority's Standards and Regulations. He has also devised and ensures that our team follows LawPlus' key values of respect, trust, passion and collaboration in the delivery of our legal services.
Outside of work, Matthew is a keen cricket fan and enjoys theatre, reading and classic cars. He has a close family consisting of his wife, also a Solicitor, two young children and last but not least the family dog, ‘Mr. Barker', a frequent visitor to the office.
Niamh is our Systems Developer and has over 14 years' experience in this field. Since joining the business in March 2020, Niamh has made significant improvements to the efficiency and processes of our IT systems and how we work.
Outside of LawPlus, Niamh is a loving mother of two young children and enjoys hiking.
Shelby joined LawPlus in March 2021. She works as PA to the Directors as well as taking responsibility for organising internal staff events.
Outside of LawPlus, Shelby enjoys gardening, walking, gaming and cooking.
Simon joined LawPlus in August 2021 as our Lead Web Developer. He is responsible for making sure our website works on all platforms, looks incredible at all times and integrates with our internal systems.
Outside of LawPlus, Simon enjoys bouldering and is a motorsport track & flag marshal working at a variety of meetings from club racing to BTCC, British GT and Formula 1.
