Emma Kealey

Emma is an experienced Office Manager and Personal/Virtual Assistant. A multi-skilled admin professional with 20-years' experience in the executive support sector. Emma joined Lifecycle Academy's sister company (Lifecycle Sourcing) in 2018 and has played an important role in the recent and successful launch of Lifecycle Academy.

Harpreet Bassi

Job Titles:
  • Junior Procurement Consultant
Harpreet graduated from SOAS University of London in 2021, attaining First-Class Honours in BSc Economics. Since joining Lifecycle Academy in 2022, Harpreet has successfully completed the Graduate training bootcamp as well as CIPS levels 4 exams and is now working towards completing CIPS level 5. For the past 6 months, Harpreet has been working on a client project which has involved monitoring international risks in the supply chain, working with key stakeholders to achieve cost savings and managing existing supplier relationships. Lifecycle Academy has given Harpreet the opportunity to fast-track her learning whilst delivering results for clients.

Jack Smith

Job Titles:

Jack studied Mathematics and Statistics at Newcastle University and graduated with a first-class masters with honours in July 2021. He joined the Lifecycle Academy in June 2022 and is looking to complete CIPS Level 4 in the Spring of 2023, with the plan to move on to CIPS Level 5 as soon as possible. Alongside CIPS, Jack spent 4 months supporting a major Lifecycle client, delivering data analysis and interpretation to support their cost management programme, and aiding them in their Supplier Relationship Management (SRM) programme. Jack is currently working with another one of our clients reviewing legal contracts, price books and gathering economic data. The Lifecycle Academy has allowed Jack to quickly grasp the principles of procurement and the world of business, and has also given him the opportunity to connect with many great professionals within the sector.

Jacob Lobl

Job Titles:

Jacob graduated from the University of Exeter with Upper Second Class Honours in Business & Management. Upon graduating Jacob accepted a role at Legal & General where he worked as a Corporate Investment Service Consultant, developing valuable transferable skills and improving his business acumen. After leaving L&G in search of a more challenging and rewarding role Jacob joined Lifecycle Academy in March 2021. Since joining, Jacob has been actively engaged in two significant client projects at Lifecycle. One project involved collaborating with a large public sector organisation to procure an information management solution through a competitive dialogue process. The second, ongoing engagement is with a multi-national corporate client negotiating a new deal for technology services throughout their estate. Alongside work placement Jacob has successfully completed CIPS Level 4 and 5 Diploma and Advanced Diploma in Procurement and Supply and is currently working towards his Level 6 award.

John Murphy FCIPS

John has 40 years of experience across all aspects of Procurement and Supply Chain management and has held senior leadership roles in FTSE 100 companies, Public sector and Not for Profit organisations. John has extensive experience in Global Sourcing and International Logistics and is an Accredited Assessor for Government Commercial functions.

Ray Vaughan - Managing Director

Ray is an experienced international leader in the procurement of complex technology solutions, has advised on procurement organisation transformations, and is regularly hired to navigate through complex disputes. Ray started Lifecycle Sourcing in 2012 and the business has gone from strength to strength with clients in the Government, Logistics, Finance and Media sectors, to name but a few.

Rio-Lily Smith

Job Titles:

Whilst studying for her Undergraduate degree in Business Management and Human Resources, Rio also completed her Level 5 CIPD and Level 5 CMI qualifications at University. Since her graduation last summer, Rio joined Lifecycle Academy and completed a full-time training bootcamp over the course of three months and will continue her studies through her level 4, 5 and 6 CIPS qualifications whilst also working on projects with different clients. Her first placement has involved evaluating client's contracts and price books, making appropriate recommendations where necessary and providing opportunities to apply her newfound knowledge to real situations. Whilst Lifecycle Academy has enabled Rio to develop her professional understanding, it has also encouraged her confidence to grow as an individual and provided opportunities to network with experienced procurement professionals.

Verity Coburn

Job Titles:

Verity graduated from Leeds Beckett University with an Upper Second-Class Honours in International Business and also studied at RMIT Vietnam for her second year of university. Throughout her time at university, she worked as a Bar tender. These experiences helped develop excellent inter-personal skills with strong cross-cultural awareness and experience of working in teams​. Verity joined Lifecycle Academy in 2021. She has successfully completed the graduate training bootcamp and is now working towards her CIPS Level 6. Over the past two years Verity has worked on various client projects her first position was within the Indirects category for a global company. Whilst with this client she was part of a number of sourcing projects including Global HR provider, Global Online benefits provider and Global financial and compliance provider. She then went on to work with a client in navigating the current global challenges in the electronic supply chain. Currently she is working on a large technology transformation project.
