Chris Day is a Chartered Engineer with decades of experience in design, construction and operation - and laterally environmental and finance roles - in large scale energy and environmental projects for international companies with responsibilities to board level. This career was initiated in nuclear energy (Wylfa) through offshore gas (North Sea) extending to many large hydro-electric projects. In more recent years environmental engineering, innovative R&D, and fiscally-driven project finance-dominated Chris's roles.
Originally from an Engineering background, Clive is a c.40 year veteran of the International Logistics and Thermal Packaging Industries with global corporate experience at the highest level. Focusing on Supply Chain Design and Thermal packaging manufacture for the protection of temperature sensitive products in transit since 2002.
Safeguarding the efficacy of Pharmaceuticals through the design and implementation of robust temperature protective transportation standards Clive focused on innovative and cost effective packaging methods during the early 2000's before selling to an industry leader in 2017.
Since the sale Clive has teamed up with colleagues creating Perishield Limited with the sole purpose of converting packaging waste into product supporting the Circular Economy.
Peter has gained a high level of experience in the accountancy profession, holding top level positions as Senior Corporate Taxation Consultant and partner in international corporate structuring and taxation, including cross border considerations.
He has been involved in corporate company valuations, sales and acquisitions including the legal requirements at the highest level.
He has been involved in providing consultancy advice regarding UK and international taxation advice to firms of accountants and lawyers.
He has held positions as CFO in Commerce and is well versed in company organisation procedures both in the United Kingdom and Worldwide.
He will be responsible for Perishields financial operation.
Over the last 40 years, he has set up and run his own companies. During his career, he has worked with major oil companies in the downstream environment, the pharmaceutical industry and international franchising organisations. A respected independent businessman, after the sale of his last business, over the last 10 years, his experience in the fields of management, structure, operations, and staff motivation, have been sought after in the capacity of a consultant.
From 2013 to 2018, he also held the position of Chief Operating Officer for a global based company, whose business was to supply thermal packaging solutions, for the transportation of temperature-sensitive products. He was instrumental in the set up and eventual successful sale of the business.
As an original member of the team for Perishield Limited, he now feeds a passion to support improvement in the environment, by tackling the issue of waste and the Circular Economy.
