Angela Cox

The 2019-20 season marks Angela Cox's 37th year working at Duke University. She was named Administrative Assistant for the Duke Basketball Legacy Fund in September of 2014. In this role, she assists the deputy director of athletics and helps coordinate the day-to-day operations of the Legacy Fund. Previously, Cox served as an electromyography technician for the Division of Neurology at the Duke University Medical Center, where her responsibilities included performing nerve conduction studies on patients while maintaining supplies for EMG machines, assisting the director with budget preparation and coordinating the annual chemodenervation workshop. In addition to her time as an electromyography technician, Cox also held the position of medical secretary for the Division of Neurology for 25 years. During that time, she scheduled consultations and studies for patients, gathered relevant information and compiled records for new patients, served as the liaison with administrative personnel and acted as time manager for office personnel. Cox, a Durham native, and her husband Cliff currently reside in Bahama, N.C.

David Bradley

David Bradley, who has served on the Duke men's basketball support staff for 15 years, enters his second as the program's creative director. In this role, Bradley leads the unit that oversees the @DukeMBB social media strategy, messaging and branding. He also assists the coaching staff in recruiting. Bradley has been involved with Duke's branding and recruiting efforts for almost two decades, helping Duke Basketball become the most-followed program in college athletics. Bradley is tasked with keeping the Blue Devils at the forefront of social media strategy, recruiting, and former player relations. With Bradley leading the charge, the Blue Devils streamlined their social media efforts in the fall of 2016 to bring Duke Basketball social media and branding under one umbrella, @DukeMBB. Previously, Bradley oversaw the successful Duke Blue Planet brand, managing the DBP social media channels, website and recruiting functions on a daily basis. Duke Blue Planet has since transitioned into a long-form video series showcasing the Duke Basketball program. Duke Basketball has been a trend-setter in creative media during Bradley's time with the program. Highlights include: With over four million followers, Duke is the most followed program in college sports on social media (Twitter, Facebook, Instagram, YouTube). The program has a larger social media following than over half the major U.S. pro franchises (NBA, NFL, MLB, NHL). Duke Basketball generates over $45 million in brand value each year on social media - tops in college sports. In 2018-19, Duke Basketball became the first college program to generate one billion impressions through social media. First college program to reach two million followers on Twitter First college program to reach one million followers on Instagram… As of the end of the 2018-19 season, Duke Basketball had more Instagram followers than all other college basketball conferences combined. First college program to reach 100,000 followers on YouTube First sports team to release a video with 50+ former players filmed/included ("The Brotherhood" video was a finalist for "Best Use of Instagram" in all of sports at the Hashtag Sports Awards in 2019) First college basketball program to launch a vlog-style long-form series on social media ("Duke Blue Planet" won best series in college sports at the SVG Awards in 2019) "The Brotherhood" - a creative extension of the Duke Basketball social media brand to promote the program's incredible lineage of outstanding players The West Simsbury, Conn., native earned a degree in sociology from Duke in 2004, graduating cum laude while working in the Duke Basketball office for three years. He served as the program's director of basketball operations for four years before being elevated to the position of creative director in March 2018. Bradley has been on staff at Duke for the program's last two national championships and published a book ("Worthy Champions") after the 2010 title. Bradley and his wife, Gina, assistant director of athletics for business operations at Duke, reside in Durham with their daughter, Quinn, son, Owen, and dog, Piper.
