Akwamfon Sustainable Community Association (ASCA) is a membership based non-governmental charitable organisation which was firstly registered in 2003 with the Akwa Ibom State Ministry of Youth and Sports, and in 2010 with the Corporate Affairs Commission. It was formed in 2003 with the help of Sustainable Development Network Limited (SDN), a UK registered non-profit organisation that is promoting institutional strengthening and initiatives to help the people of Nigeria and elsewhere. Membership of Akwamfon includes school children, youths, adults and corporate bodies, including the University of Uyo Entrepreneurial Action Us (ENACTUS), formerly the Student In Free Enterprise... We are the authoring a new paradigm for a complete rebranding of the community spirit and team work. Our team is focused on finding innovative solutions to the numerous issues facing our youth, women, and the elderly, from the simplest to the most complex questions that bother on their peaceful and prosperous..
