ALPHA CHAPTER

Alpha Chapter, Inc., the charter chapter of Chi Eta Phi Sorority, Incorporated ® was organized on October 16, 1932 at Freedman's Hospital School of Nursing in Washington, DC. Since its inception, the chapter has supported the objectives of the national body and has implemented programs related to cancer, heart disease, and community wellness. Additionally, the chapter promotes educational achievement of its members and potential nurses by providing financial assistance through scholarships for nursing students. Programs that foster community wellness hold a significant role in the chapter's community service activities especially those that impact vulnerable citizens such as children and the elderly... Our 2023-2025 biennium theme is WE ARE ALPHA (Achieving a Legacy with Pride, Humility, and Action). We remain committed to Chi Eta Phi Sorority, Incorporated's mission of developing healthy communities through advocacy, collaboration, education, leadership, research, and service.....
