American Christian Academy is a movement of God that started with Sarah McCreary at the Godfrey Congregational Church in 2020. In 1985, Sarah started a home school with her mother, Betty Close, to provide Christian education for family and friends. Probably due to her previous experience of providing quality Christian education, Sarah felt a prompting from the Lord to open a private Christian school at this church. Then God brought in a loving comprehensive staff with different skill sets to make this an outstanding school. Due to health reasons, Sarah McCreary had to resign in 2021. The Lord continues to do miracles and lead the staff to make this a holy place of learning.
