BAUMAN & SMITH - Key Persons
Chuck Bauman received his Juris Doctor from Baylor University in 1992. He focuses his practice on estate and asset preservation planning for clients through the use of trusts, wills, partnerships, limited liability companies, corporations, tax planning and other planning techniques. Mr. Bauman is a CELA (Certified Elder Law Attorney) by the National Elder Law Foundation, as recognized by the Texas Board of Legal Specialization. In 1999, he became the first lawyer in East Texas to receive this designation. He has practiced law for 28 years.
Mr. Bauman and his wife, Kathy, have three children-Hannah, Mary Kathryn, and Henry.

Born and raised in Tyler, firm partner Neal Smith focuses his practice on wealth preservation planning through wills, trusts, and other advance planning techniques. To further his service to clients, he has developed expertise in planning for families with children who have disabilities or other special needs. Mr. Smith earned his Bachelor of Business Administration degree from Texas A&M University and his law degree from St. Mary's University School of Law.
Mr. Smith is an avid runner and has competed in more than 15 marathons. He and his wife, Marty, have three children-Burch, Blake and Andrew.
