DANNY SANDOVAL

Danny Sandoval joined the Beatty & Myers team in 2021. He handles all aspects of civil litigation, including pre-filing claim evaluation/strategy, pleadings and discovery, law and motion, and trial preparation. Danny received his bachelor's degree in Psychology from California State University, Los Angeles in 2007. He then attended University of San Francisco, School of Law, receiving his Juris Doctorate in 2017.

Erik J. Ekblad

Erik J. Ekblad joined the firm in 2008 and became a partner in 2018. His practice focuses on litigation defense in the areas of motor vehicle warranty/lemon law, product liability and general civil litigation. He has litigated thousands of cases, taken hundreds of depositions, successfully negotiated hundreds of settlements, and has obtained numerous favorable rulings on dispositive and other law and motion matters. Erik received his Bachelor of Science degree in Criminal Justice from California State University Long Beach, graduating Cum Laude in 1999. He then attended Southwestern School of Law, receiving his Juris Doctorate in 2003. At Southwestern School of Law, he was a member of the Dean's List (top 10% of class) and on Law Review where he served as the Notes and Comments Editor. Erik was also the recipient of the CALI "Excellence For The Future" Awards [Highest Grade] for Civil Procedure I, Property II, and Interview, Counseling, and Negotiation in addition to the Dean's Scholar Award, and the University Scholarship. While at Southwestern, he was also the Co-President for the Criminal Law Society. After law school, Mr. Ekblad practiced in Los Angeles for two years focusing on complex civil litigation, including consumer rights, employment litigation, and business litigation. He began working with the founding partners of Beatty & Myers, LLP in 2005.

John W. Myers

John W. Myers, IV has been successfully defending clients in civil litigation, including vehicle warranty/lemon law, unfair business practices, fraud, premises liability, products liability, insurance bad faith and business litigation cases in state and federal courts, for over 20 years. Mr. Myers obtained his undergraduate degree, Magna Cum Laude, in business administration (with a minor in economics) from the University of Redlands in 1990, finishing at the top of the business class and earning the title Senior Scholar in Business Administration. He then went to work in the real estate industry as an escrow officer/manager for multiple Century 21 offices in the San Fernando Valley. Seeking greater challenge, he attended law school and graduated Magna Cum Laude (#2 in class), from Southwestern University School of Law's SCALE program, in 1995. Mr. Myers received the highest grade in 10 classes, was on Law Review and was an oral finalist in intramural Moot Court.

KRISTON GUILLOT

Kriston Guillot joined the Beatty & Myers team in 2019. He handles several aspects of civil litigation, including pre-filing claim evaluation/strategy, discovery, and law and motion practice. Mr. Guillot's litigation experience includes managing complex discovery, extensive legal research/analysis, and trial. Mr. Guillot graduated from the University Of Kansas School Of Law where he was a member of the Kansas Law Review and the Moot Court Council. He held leadership roles in the Black Law Student Association and was the President of the Student Bar Association. In the summer of 2015, he studied Tax and Comparative law abroad at the Bahçeşehir University School of Law in Istanbul, Turkey. He was the recipient of the CALI "Excellence For The Future" Award in Torts and was selected as 2017 Man of Merit for the University of Kansas. Mr. Guillot brings to the table more than a decade of business experience in the pharmaceutical industry and consumer finance. After law school, Mr. Guillot practiced in Kansas City, Missouri for two years focusing on commercial litigation and construction law. Sean D. Beatty

Sean D. Beatty has represented clients in a broad spectrum of legal matters, including motor vehicle litigation, warranty/lemon law, unfair business practices, fraud, premises liability, products liability, insurance bad faith and business litigation cases in state and federal courts. His extensive courtroom experience has resulted in representation of some of the country's most influential corporate clients. He also serves in an advisory capacity for corporate clients, assisting in the development of nationwide strategies and training for claims handling and litigation. With over 25 years of litigation experience and more than 70 jury trials, Mr. Beatty has the knowledge and skill to successfully represent clients in all aspects of litigation. In recognition of his outstanding trial and litigation skills, Mr. Beatty has been named a "Super Lawyer": A ranking of the top 5% of lawyers in Southern California by a nationally recognized rating service of outstanding lawyers. He is also an Advocate member of the American Board of Trial Advocates (ABOTA), a national association of experienced trial lawyers and judges dedicated to the preservation and promotion of the civil jury trial, and requires its members to be responsible for elevating the standards of integrity, honor, ethics, civility and courtesy in the legal profession. He is also a member of the Association of Southern California Defense Counsel and the Phi Delta Phi International Legal Fraternity.
