BONNY OAKS FOUNDATION

Bonny Oaks Foundation is a nonprofit corporation which consists of a Board of Directors. Our main purpose and responsibility is to secure adequate reliable information regarding any applicant requesting benefits from the Foundation by furnishing approved forms for the applicants... "Mighty Oaks from Little Acorns Grow" ... "was more than a statement about the mighty Oak trees that grew from acorns on the Bonny Oaks property. It represented the many children that came through the school as orphaned children and the potential these children had that they would become the Might Oaks from Little Acorns!! The school had its inception in 1895, for the care of indigent children, all categories, i.e.; dependent, neglected delinquent or otherwise. Enrollment at that time was 115 students which 72 were white, and 44 Black students.
