Prior to consulting, she gained hands-on experience working in web development and informatics exemplifying adaptability and growth potential in highly conceptual and analytical roles. Earlier in her career, Ryn served as lab manager for the Emotion and Cognition Laboratory where she oversaw two grants from the National Institute of Health (NIH, R01) and National Science Foundation (NSF, SES), and successfully co-wrote a grant proposal for the National Institute of Health/Aging's call for exploratory research on the mitigating effects of affect-based interventions on biomarkers of Alzheimer's Disease progression. She has co-authored publications featured in the Journal of Child and Family Studies and Journal of Experimental Psychology.
