Callie graduated from The Ohio State University with a Bachelor of Science degree in Anthropological Sciences with a minor in Forensic Science. She moved from Ohio to Cherryville in 2020. In her free time she enjoys gardening, cooking, and spending time with her toy poodle, Gus. Callie is currently attending Mortuary School at FTCC with plans of becoming a licensed Funeral Director and Embalmer.
David Kiser graduated from NC State with a BS in Engineering degree and is a retired Property Loss Prevention Engineer after 30 years of service. He also worked at Kiser Chevrolet in Cherryville for 13 years. He attends First Baptist Church and is a former Cherryville City Councilman. He is a member of the Chamber of Commerce and The Sons of the American Legion. He enjoys walking in his free time, attending Cherryville & grandkids sporting events, and visiting seniors in the community.

Hannah joined the staff of Carpenter-Porter Funeral & Cremation Services in 2013. She has assisted with funerals since 2008 and has been a licensed funeral director and embalmer since 2012. She graduated with the highest honors from Fayetteville Technical Community College with an associate's degree in Applied Science for Funeral Service Education. She along with her husband Scott, are proud to serve the Cherryville Community. They have two children Ashley and Joey. They attend and support First Wesleyan Church in Cherryville. Hannah serves as the Secretary of the Cherryville Little Ironmen Booster Club, Chaplain of the American Legion Auxiliary Unit #100, serves on the Board of Directors for the Cherryville Chamber of Commerce and is actively involved in the Cherryville Events Committee and Cherryville Main Street Program.
Carroll Carpenter is a 1957 graduate of Cherryville High School. He graduated from Appalachian State Teachers College in 1961. Carroll joined his father at the family business, Carpenter's Funeral Home, in the same year he graduated, 1961. He has been a licensed funeral director for 63 years, serving the Cherryville community. Carroll is happily married to his wife, Brenda Ballard Carpenter, and they share three children: Blake, Kevin, and Heather Carpenter.

Scott joined the staff of Carpenter-Porter Funeral & Cremation Services in 2019. He has assisted with funeral services since 1996 and has been a licensed funeral director and embalmer since 2012. Scott is a lifelong resident of Gaston County and a Bessemer City High School graduate. He graduated with honors from Fayetteville Technical Community College with an associate degree in Applied Science for Funeral Service Education. As a licensed funeral director and embalmer, Scott is proud to work alongside his wife Hannah while serving the Cherryville community. Scott and Hannah have two children; Ashley and Joey. Scott and his family attend and support First Wesleyan Church of Cherryville. He enjoys collecting miniature replica hearses, trips to the mountains, spending time with his family, and anything outdoors.

John has been with Carpenter-Porter Funeral home for 16 years. He became licensed as a funeral director in 1974 and is a certified preplanning counselor. John is an involved member of the Cherryville Rotary Club, and a member of St. John's Lutheran Church. John is celebrating over 43 years of marriage to his wife Nancy. John and Nancy have two children Joel (Heather) and Allison (Jeff). They have also been blessed with three wonderful grandchildren Kenzie, Jace, and A.J.
Mackey enjoys playing golf, going to the mountains, and is a member of St. Paul's Lutheran Church.
