Andressa Granado

Andressa Granado joined the overdose prevention workforce in 2020 after receiving her B.S in Public Health from Southern CT State University, and a Community Health Worker certification through the CT Department of Health. Currently, she is pursuing a M.S degree in Public Health from the University of New Haven. As an Opioid Community Health Worker in the Health Programs Division, she leads overdose prevention & response programming and activities. Andressa looks forward to working with other agencies and residents to create safer and healthier communities impacted by the opioid crisis. Andressa Granado works as the Public Health Navigator at Quinnipiack Valley Health District (QVHD) conducting community outreach, assisting in overdose prevention and response projects, and providing Opioid Use Disorder education.

Julia Einhorn

Julia Einhorn is the Health Programs Director in the New Haven Health Department. Julia is passionate about leveraging community-driven solutions to solve public health problems. She holds a Master of Public Administration in Health Policy and Management from New York University.

Kara Sepulveda

Kara Sepulveda has been with QVHD for the last 5 years. She received her Bachelor in Public Health at UMASS Amherst in 2015 & completed the Drug and Alcohol Addiction Counseling (DARC) program at Gateway in Spring of 2020 and is currently pursuing her Masters in Public Health from Southern CT State University. She joined QVHD with the goal of shattering the ongoing stigma surrounding opioid use disorder and mental health in the community. As the program coordinator for the Overdose Data to Action (OD2A) grant, Kara is excited to start critical conversations and connect residents without stigma to the resources and support that they need. Kara Sepulveda has been with QVHD for the last 4 years, she received her Bachelors in Public Health at UMASS Amherst in 2015 & completed the Drug and Alcohol Addiction Counseling (DARC) program at Gateway in Spring of 2020.
