DAN'S STATUES

Dan's Statues is a privately owned small business that began with an entrepreneurial dream more than thirty years ago. Dan began selling statuary and plaques as a side business while simultaneously working as a painter, contractor, and horseman. Initially, the business sold prefabricated non-concrete statuary that Dan imported and then painted. Before long, he realized he could produce a superior product by making his own molds and using them to produce the statuary himself. He flew in a mold maker who trained him in the process, which Dan perfected and improved on over the next fifteen years. After working in a variety of mediums, Dan settled on durable, high-quality concrete as the material for his product line. Always with an eye to the time when he could dedicate himself to the statuary business, Dan reached and then passed retirement age.
