Alex Wulkan

Alex is the Founder and Chief Operating Officer at Estateably - the modern, cloud-based software platform for estate and trust professionals. Estateably streamlines administration by automating the filling of court forms and precedent letters, simplifying input of estate inventory and accounting and enabling one-click court-formatted reporting. In just over a year Estateably has grown to become the leading technology provider for Canadian trust & estate professionals and are now expanding globally. Before co-founding Estateably, Alex graduated from Tufts in 2019 with a B.S. in Engineering Psychology and a minor in Entrepreneurial Leadership. While at Tufts, Alex was prominently involved with the Entrepreneurship Center by co-leading the Venture Lab and student Entrepreneurs Society. Amanda Tramont

Amanda is the Assistant Director, East Coast Alumni Chapters at Tufts University. She facilitates the engagement of a diverse base of alumni, parents and friends on the East Coast, manage a portfolio of 16 - 20 regional chapters and Shared Interest Groups. She plans and executes events and activities ranging from local social and cultural events, to more formal educational programs as well as large scale programs involving entire alumni community. She works with individual steering committees to help recruit new volunteers and maintain momentum within the chapter. She creates all regional communications including registration pages, e-blasts, calendar pages, print invitations and phone blast messages and submit to University communications in a timely manner. Prior to Tufts, Amanda served as an account and client manager at diverse organizations including Berman Advertising to UBS Financial Services, CBS and more. Andy Merken

Beth McCarthy

Beth has spent the last 20+ years helping brands bridge the gap between their offering and their consumers' needs. Most recently she was with C Space (formerly Communispace) where she consulted with Fortune 500 companies including Hewlett Packard, Charles Schwab, Bank of America, Citi, Meredith Corporation, Kraft Foods and Weight Watchers and helped them understand how to make their brand, products, experiences and messaging relevant to the people they serve. She gets to this level of deep understanding by establishing trust, getting into hearts and minds and ultimately surfacing what moves people to action. During her 11+ year tenure at C Space, Beth was instrumental in growing the company from 30 to 600+ employees - establishing and growing client relationships; recruiting, developing and inspiring employees; and defining and executing overall growth strategies. Prior to C Space, Beth worked at top consulting firms in Boston including Digitas and Epsilon. Much of her work focused on developing customer loyalty initiatives including launching best customer programs for American Express, AT&T, Amtrak and Target. Beth currently runs her own consulting practice, helping organizations think through tough challenges and new/different ways to solve then. She does this primarily through strategic facilitation - engaging teams in spirited discussion and pushing them to think in ways they haven't before. Carol Denning

Catherine Popper

Prior to Fidelity, Ms. Popper had a 20 year career in consulting working for Mercer HR Consulting, Towers Perrin, Mercer Management Consulting (now Oliver Wyman) and WFD Consulting. Ms. Popper received her BS in math from Tufts University and her MBA at Boston University. A resident of Lincoln, MA, Ms. Popper lives with her husband (and Tufts alum) Noah Eckhouse and has two adult children. Christine Dunn

Christine previously served as Senior Vice President at O'Neill and Associates, which merged with Seven Letter in 2020. Prior to joining O'Neill and Associates, Christine founded and ran ArcPoint Strategy, which advised CEOs and senior management teams on thought leadership platforms for advocacy and issues campaigns; the launch of new companies and market-making products; corporate communications programs; and the development of integrated digital and traditional PR programs. Christine won multiple national and international awards for those campaigns, including several Best in Biz and Stevie Awards for Women in Business, as well as recognition from Bulldog Reporter and the Publicity Club of New England. Christine honed her media strategy skills at Bloomberg News, where she worked for more than a decade as a multimedia reporter, editor and senior manager. Leadership roles included Bureau Chief of Boston; and head of the North American Consumer/Retail, Mutual Funds and Education teams. Mr. Auster led the deal team in the acquisition of Polaroid Corporation by One Equity Partners and served as Chairman of the Board of Polaroid. Dr. Katrin Kaeufer

Earle Yaffa

Earle is the former Managing Director at Skadden, Arps, Slate, Meager & Flom LLC, one of the leading business law firms in the world. He joined Skadden Arps in 1980 and helped in the transformation of the legal profession from local partnerships to institutions which now service the needs of global corporations in their most difficult problems. Elaine Chen

Elaine is the Cummings Professor of the Practice in Entrepreneurship and Director of the Derby Entrepreneurship Center at Tufts. Elaine is the Academic Director for the popular undergraduate Entrepreneurship Minor, where she also teaches multiple courses. She oversees all co-curricular programming, including 1×1 coaching, workshops, a summer accelerator and more. Under her leadership, the Center has grown rapidly and now attracts students with diverse professional interests and career plans, including historically underrepresented groups. Prior to joining Tufts, Elaine served as Senior Lecturer and Entrepreneur-in-Residence for nearly a decade at the Martin Trust Center for MIT Entrepreneurship, teaching entrepreneurship in startup, corporate, non-profit and government settings. Elaine founded and led the implementation of multiple academic and co-curricular offerings at MIT. She coached hundreds of students every year, and spearheaded the development of digital infrastructure that used technology to scale up equitable access to entrepreneurship education - on and off campus. Elaine plays an active role in entrepreneurship enablement in the community. She received the MIT Monosson Prize for Entrepreneurship Mentoring in recognition of her impact on entrepreneurship education. She was selected by the American Academy for the Advancement of Science and Lemelson Foundation to serve as an Invention Ambassador. She also served on the board of the MIT Enterprise Forum of Cambridge (now known as the eForum). She is currently a Board Director at the Center for Open Science. Elaine brings a wealth of experience to Tufts, having served as an engineering and product management VP at six companies, including Rethink Robotics, Zeo, Zeemote and SensAble Technologies. She has brought numerous hardware and software products to market and holds 22 patents. As Founder and Managing Director of ConceptSpring, a corporate innovation and entrepreneurship consulting company, Elaine helps corporate leaders build entrepreneurial organizations via innovation consulting in companies spanning healthcare, industrial automation, FinTech, non-profits, government agencies and more. As a thought leader, keynote speaker and author, Elaine has been featured in Xconomy, TechCrunch, Huffington Post, Forbes and Fortune. She is author of Bringing a Hardware Product to Market: Navigating the Wild Ride from Concept to Mass Production. She has extensive international experience with particular expertise in the Asia-Pacific area. Felice Shapiro

She sold her print magazine group targeting the regional parenting market in 1998 (Family Publishing Group), and launched a digital media site www.betterafter50.com in November of 2011. As the Founder/Publisher of the on-line magazine, Better After 50 (BA50), she is dedicated to celebrating women in their next phase. She established Betterafter50.com as #1 in its niche for women in this stage of life (currently boasting over 45K instagram followers). She taught Entrepreneurship 101 at Tufts for 5 years. She is a mother of 2 Tufts Grads, Jake (08) and Caleb Shapiro (11), and her fabulous husband Bill is also a Tufts Alum. Felice is an adventure traveler who is dedicated to living a positive life. Forrest Snowden

Frank Apeseche

George Blount

As a Financial Therapist & Behavioral Economist, George Blount helps individuals overcome financial fears and help organizations use this information to teach money concepts and create wellness programs. Jack is a professor within the Derby Entrepreneurship Center at Tufts where he teaches separate courses in marketing and in sales. Jack has taught at Tufts for 20 years and was the prior director of the Entrepreneurship Center. Jordan Kivelstadt

Kendall Reiss

In her work, Kendall Reiss focuses on two separate yet parallel modes of inquiry: the design and fabrication of contemporary jewelry alongside material experiments, which result in sculptural objects and time-based installations. A native of Bristol, Rhode Island, Kendall grew up exploring the rocky shoreline of Narragansett Bay. She attended Dickinson College in Carlisle, PA where she received a BS in Geology, which provided the visual training and hands-on approach she now uses to conduct and record her studio-based investigations. After studying at several prominent institutions including the Haystack Mountain School of Crafts, Kendall returned to school to combine her fascination of the natural world with the study of jewelry. In 2011, she received an MFA in Jewelry + Metalsmithing from the Rhode Island School of Design. Exhibits of her work include the Clark Gallery, Greenville Center for Creative Arts, Bristol Art Museum, and Haskell Public Gardens. Kendall is also an independent curator and has worked both independently and collaboratively on curatorial projects on the East and West Coast at Brooklyn Metal Works, The Hotel Wilshire, Velvet da Vinci, and Alloy Gallery. Kendall recently initiated and moderated a Social Club panel discussion in collaboration with Current Obsession magazine to correspond with the opening of Past is Present: Revival Jewelry at the Museum of Fine Arts, Boston. She has taught across New England including at the Rhode Island School of Design and Fuller Craft Museum.
