DIV SOLUTIONS - Key Persons
Professor Patrick Hosein is a founder and Chief Research Officer at DIV Solutions. He attended the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) where he obtained five degrees including a PhD in Electrical Engineering and Computer Science. He has worked at Bose Corporation, Bell Laboratories, AT&T Laboratories, Ericsson and Huawei. He has published extensively with over 100 refereed journal and conference publications. He holds 40 granted and 42 pending patents in the areas of telecommunications and wireless technologies. He was nominated for the Ericsson Inventor of the Year award in 2004, was the Huawei US Wireless Research Employee of the year for 2007 and is a 2015 Anthony Sabga Caribbean Laureate for Science and Technology. Patrick is presently the administrative and technical contact for the TT top level domain, CEO of the TTNIC and a tenured Professor of Computer Science at the University of the West Indies. He also is the founder of TTLabs, a close collaboration partner of DIV Solutions.
Dr. Andrew Borg is the Chief Technology Officer at DIV Solutions and is responsible for development and delivery of all services and solutions to our clients through our data science team. Andrew is a technologist with specialist expertise in the development of software products for systems with high integrity requirements. He has over a decade of expertise in developing product quality software that has been delivered to leading companies across the world. Andrew has held lead technical and management roles in the development of software solutions and products and has earned a reputation with clients for architecting high quality, highly maintainable solutions which maximise customer value at a low cost of implementation and ownership. Andrew holds a Bacherlor's Degree in Computer Science from the University of Malta, and a PhD from the University of York, UK.
Eddy Devisse is the Managing Director of DIV Solutions with the responsibility for the overall strategic direction and company goals. Eddy has led some of the most innovative companies in the country in Retail, ICT and Online services since moving to T&T in 2004. His focus is on Product Management, Innovation and Business Operations. Prior to Trinidad, Eddy held managerial positions in leading technology companies in the USA and Japan. After receiving his Engineering Physics degree in Montreal he worked in Tokyo as an International Project Manager for NTT (Nippon Telegraph & Telephone), then as a Product Marketing Manager for Gateway Computers. After 5 years in Japan, he moved to California's Silicon Valley to work with Handspring as International Product Manager.
