Dr. Gina Beaman

For over 30 years, Dr. Gina Beaman has worked in the areas of mental health and psychoeducational assessment. She is a Licensed Educational Psychologist and a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist in the state of California. Dr. Beaman is the owner of THINK! Center for Psychoeducational Assessments and Family Therapy. She also works as a School Psychologist in the public sector. She has been honored by the West End SELPA as a dedicated supporter of children with special needs and has recently co-authored papers for the California Association of School Psychologist.

Dr. Kimberly Davis

Dr. Kimberly Davis is trained as a mental health professional and skilled instructor of higher education. Her specialties include health psychology, child and adolescent development, diversity and equity promotion, mentorship and advocacy in underserved populations. Dr. Davis' work as a professional educator includes instruction and research in psychological development across the life-span, early care and learning, human sexuality, stress management, adjustment, and championing a culture of diversity, inclusion, and equity. Dr. Davis earned her Undergraduate Degree in Biology from Kennesaw State University, Masters of Arts in Counseling from Argosy University and Doctoral degree in Counseling Psychology with specialty in Health Psychology from Tennessee State University. She completed her pre-doctoral residency in Medical Psychology at Medical College of Georgia and Augusta VA Medical Center with focus on the integration of mental health in the treatment of chronic illness. Dr. Davis has served as faculty at Kennesaw State University, Kaplan University, Tennessee State University and worked as a Primary Care-Mental Health Integration Psychologist for the Atlanta Department of Veterans Affairs. With a desire to re-connect with her love for child development, training and education, Dr. Davis joined Bright Horizons Family Solutions in 2014. Supporting her passion for training, education and advocacy, Dr. Davis provides educational trainings and facilitation groups in the areas of early care and learning, diversity, culturally competent work environments, interpersonal effectiveness, team building, goal setting and stress management. She is certified as a facilitator of Professional Learning Communities and Adult Learning. Further leaning into her strengths and strong desire for advocacy, mental health and wellness promotion, and empowerment of African American youth, Dr. Davis also provides professional development and well-being workshops to various organizations. Ultimately, Dr. Kimberly Davis aspires to promote opportunities for collaborative, diverse discussions aimed at creating a world of inclusive perspectives that support the success of future generations.

Melony Gibson - Founder

Melony Gibson is a training and leadership development professional who has been committed to the field of education and performance improvement for over 30 years. Melony began her journey in early childhood development with a focus on family studies. She served the early education field as a program coordinator, program director, and regional manager for public and private organizations focused on high quality education programs for young children. The roles in early education also focused on providing parent education, staff training and development, and client partnerships. Melony expanded her experience and area of study to the field of education to support and impact the practices and procedures for all learners. She worked as an adjunct professor at several colleges in Los Angeles, California, and Atlanta, Georgia. She taught coursework on administration, curriculum, and family and community studies. Melony earned her doctorate degree in Education with a focus on Performance Improvement Leadership and has worked as a professional developer of talent for leaders, a diversity, equity, and inclusion specialist, and a retention and engagement manager. Melony's education and experience led her to pursue her passion of growing leaders and helping to develop organizational sustainability. Melony has extensive experience in the following areas: • Creating high quality training and professional development programs • Identifying potential and growth opportunities for employees through succession planning • Developing strong leaders and workplace cultures • Building inclusive teams • Identifying organizational systems to create sustainability The proud mother of four adult children, one grandchild, and a wonderful husband, Melony is fortunate to have a village of support as she pursues her professional dreams. Thresa Offord

Thresa Offord has dedicated her service to leadership in Early Childhood Education (ECE) for 25 years. She has spent her career in ECE management and has worked with both teachers and managers in guiding programs to meet quality care. Thresa has managed both for-profit and non-profit programs. She specializes in leading coaches to effectively implement coaching practices that support Head Start programs that use tools, such as CLASS (Toddler and Pre-K), ITERS, and ECERS. Her passion is working with adults to lead them down the path of successful leadership. Thresa earned her Undergraduate Degree in Early Childhood Education from San Jose State University and completed a Master of Arts degree in Human Development with an emphasis on Leadership in Education and Human Services. Thresa plans to share her knowledge and past experiences to help teachers, middle managers, and senior managers implement strategies they can implement to make a difference in the world of ECE.
