Ashley Zimmerman PTA- Ashley recently graduated from the Union County College PTA program in 2012. She received her BS in business from Ramapo College in 2009 as well. Ashley has a high interest in orthopedic, manual therapy, and sports rehab.She has always been an athlete, which really sparked her interest for Physical Therapy.
Cheryl Arnold MSPT- Cheryl is a skilled orthopedic therapist with an emphasis in women's health. She completed her undergraduate degree at Wingate University where she played Division II soccer. She earned her Masters of Science of Physical Therapy in 2001 at UMDNJ. She has gained knowledge through continuing education in neck and back disorders and that the role of pelvic insufficiency can proliferate chronic pain. As an accomplished equestrian/polo player, her understanding of core muscle requirements involved in all apsects of riding benefit her clients as they return to sport. Cheryl brings a well-rounded approach of treating orthopedic injury to Excellent Physical Therapy.
Frank Lamorte DPT- Frank graduated from the University of Delaware with a BS in Physical Education Studies in 1998. He then went on to continue his education at UMDNJ, where he recieved his Doctorate of Physical Therapy in 2003. Frank specializes in spine disorders, shoulder injuries, and post surgical rehabilitation. Frank loves the family-like environment here at Excellent Physical Therapy and the ability to give each patient his one on one undivided attention.
Kelly is an experienced and dedicated physical therapist, with great passion for quality patient care, and a highly developed set of clinical and interpersonal skills gained through more than 30 years of hands on patient care. She received her Bachelor's degree in Biology from Rutgers College in 1984 and her Master's degree in Physical Therapy from Duke University in 1986. Kelly also has extensive teaching experience at Columbia University College of Physicians and Surgeons, University of Florence, Italy; Bergen County Community PTA program; and as Instructor for Home Health Aide Certification Training.
Kelly also has broad management experience. She has served as Director of Physical Therapy for 2 different multi-facility PT practices with as many as 60 professional staff members. Kelly has worked in physical therapy in Puerto Rico and Italy. She is proud to have trained the PT staff in Florence Italy after that country's first total shoulder replacement and to have helped establish the first of its kind Sports Medicine Clinic in Florence. Kelly also currently does homecare Physical Therapy for house bound patients.
Kelly Papa PTA- Kelly graduated from Hamilton college in 1990 with a BS. She then went on to receive her PTA degree from Fairleigh Dickinson University in 1997. She began working at Excellent Physical Therapy in May of 2000. Kelly was captain of her college swim team and thus always enjoys working with athletes. However, after working closely with a patient with Parkinson's Disease, she helped develop our Gait and Balance program. She has taken numerous classes pertaining to this specialized program and has geared this training to help patients with Multiple Sclerosis, Parkinson's Disease, joint replacements, and stroke.
Louis F. DiGiovine PT is the founder, owner, administrator, and is still evaluating and treating patients on a daily basis. Lou DiGiovine PT is a clinically talented orthopedic manual therapist with 29 years experience. Lou graduated from the very first class at The University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey (UMDNJ) in June 1980 giving him the distinction of being one of the first eighteen physical therapists graduating in the State of New Jersey. He continued that "pioneering" spirit when he took his first position as a staff therapist at the busy and reputable Christ Hospital in Jersey City, NJ. Ursula graduated from the University of Richmond in 1999 and graduated from Thomas Jefferson University with her Doctorate of Physical Therapy in 2004. She has a high interest in Geriatric Rehab and specializes in treating patients with Parkinson's, MS, Stroke etc.
