FIELDSTON COUNSELING

Our goal is to guide our clients through self-exploration, self-awareness and resilience building that transforms them into self-reliant individuals. We integrate psychodynamic, cognitive-behavioral (CBT), dialectical behavior (DBT), relational, and mindfulness-based techniques tailored to client's specific needs. The therapeutic relationship is a partnership explored within a safe, non-judgmental environment, working at a pace that is comfortable for the client; we can explore short or long-term counseling. Together, we can work towards resolving feelings of sadness, anxiety, and understand maladaptive patterns. Most importantly, we will gain insight into how to change problematic behaviors.
