1. Do you feel MPC has made meaningful progress on its antiracism and equity vision?... Yes, progress has been made. Would be helpful to review the ARAO action plan and what came out of first round of CROAR. In external work, making and effort to authentically engage communities focusing on and increasing their capacity. And being conscious of MPC's tendency to take up too much space and resources. Internally, CROAR trainings have been incredibly helpful with grounding perspectives, the creation of the Equity Commitee, pay band transparency, removal of the "IQ" test from the hiring process, deeper engagement with CROAR on moving through the ARAO process. Antiracism and equity is a constant conversation, which is different from other workplaces, trying to grow from it speaks volumes. Over last six years, MPC has done small steps which have been building on each other; Also dedicate board meetings to equity as well as having a board group of equity advisors. Some progress but not enough..
