Dave MacKenzie has been a long time Boulder County resident for the last 32 years. With the help of some good friends from CU, Dave founded the Fox Theatre on University Hill in 1992, bringing thousands of concerts and events to our community. Currently he is a partner/board member of Z2 Entertainment, LLC, which oversees the Boulder, Fox and Aggie Theaters collectively. He lives with his wife, Casey and his two daughters, Harper and Evan on a farm in Longmont. Both girls have attended Friends elementary and middle school. The MacKenzies are passionate supporters of our Friends School community and mission.

Erin Jackman is a mom, wife, daughter and most recently, an entrepreneur. Originally from California, she has called Colorado home for thirty years. Previously Erin had a successful career at a multinational telecom and internet provider. She loves that Friends School is a combination of nurturing the head and heart, and she is thankful for the Friends Community and their commitment to honoring every child and encouraging a love of learning and exploration. Erin was a member of the Friends Parent Council and is embracing the opportunity to continue volunteering and preserving the spirit of our school as a member of the Friends Community Board.
Erin Picone grew up North of Boston and attended the University of New Hampshire, where she graduated in 1998 with a B.A. in Psychology. After graduation, she worked for Putnam Investments for over a decade. Following many years in sales and numerous exciting career achievements, Erin was promoted to SVP, Investment Product Management Team Leader for Global Asset Allocation. She was tasked with training and supporting the entire sales force in addition to traveling and meeting with retail, institutional and retirement clients. Erin helped launch the firm's revolutionary Absolute Return Mutual Funds in 2008 which raised over $1B dollars in less than a year. She left the firm in 2010 to start a family. She and her husband, Steve, and their daughter, Chloe, relocated to Boulder in 2013. Erin enjoys reading, hiking, and spending Summers on Cape Cod, Massachusetts visiting friends and family.

Fred Marienthal is a Partner in Kutak Rock LLP's Denver office. Fred has been with the law firm for more than 37 years and has participated in over 965 financings aggregating $32 billion. He has successfully collaborated with the firm's clients to develop and implement creative and innovative "first-of-their-kind" financing structures. He focuses his practice on higher education facility financings, conduit private activity bonds, nonprofit facility financings and affordable housing transactions. Colorado Governors Roy Romer, Bill Owens and Bill Ritter appointed Fred to serve on the Colorado Municipal Bond Supervision Advisory Board. Fred serves as a board member for Kitchen Sisters Productions, Public Media Company, the University of Colorado's School of Public Affairs Advisory Board and the University of Colorado Denver Chancellor's Development Committee.
Fred has previously served on the Friends School Community Board from 2007 to 2015 as Board Chair, Co-Chair, Treasurer, Finance Committee Chair and Strategic Planning Committee Chair. On December 27, 2010, the newspaper Law Week Colorado named Fred as one of 11 "Lawyers of the Year" in the State of Colorado.
Fred received a Bachelor of Arts degree, with distinction, from the University of Arizona in 1977, a Master of Public Administration degree from the University of Colorado in 1979 and a Juris Doctor degree from the University of Denver in 1982. Prior to joining Kutak Rock in 1983, Fred served as a staff assistant to United States Representative Timothy E. Wirth (D‑Colo.) during the 97th and 98th Congresses.

Kristin Lawrence is a scientist, educator, entrepreneur, and maker. She taught Planetary Geophysics at Stanford University before moving to Boulder to found a recreational family STEM facility. She received a BA in Physics from Carleton College and Ph.D. from Scripps Institution of Oceanography in Planetary Geophysics, focusing on investigating magnetic fields of the Earth, Moon, and Mars. She has a core strength in developing introductory curricula and tools that entice students to continue in the scientific fields with a strong experimental focus. Kristin is passionate about science education, community, and philanthropy for the sciences. Her mission is to focus existing community support into beneficial actions for Boulder and the surrounding areas. Her twins are in seventh grade at Friends Middle School.
