The Frankford Fire Department serves the residents of Frankford Township and covers 40 square miles. FTFD also runs first responders to all EMS calls in the township to assist the Blue Ridge Rescue Squad. On average, the FTFD runs 400 fire calls a year and 700 EMS calls a year.
