GABRIEL MININBERG

Home page of Gabriel Mininberg, a jazz artist from Denver, CO... I'm a saxophonist and composer living in Denver, Colorado. My music is inspired by outer space, short stories, and sculptures. I love to play with world rhythms and film-inspired harmonies, and I'm interested in new ways of presenting music through multimedia performance... In May 2022, I recorded an album-length composition, Double Quartet, in Los Angeles, California. The 35-minute piece features string quartet and chordless jazz quartet. The piece was fueled by my love of short stories, jazz, EDM, metal, and chamber music. When we premiered it at the Yale Planetarium in 2020, I created a set of animated graphics to accompany the music, which were projected on the dome overhead.
