STEPS, a Cape Town-based non-profit media company that works in the documentary space in Africa, connects filmmakers, broadcasters, funders and community-based organizations using documentary films as a tool for social change. They have produced critically acclaimed anthology projects for over 20 years including Steps for the Future, Why Democracy? and Why Poverty?, garnering numerous awards for over 100 films produced, including a Peabody and Academy award... Generation Africa is the fourth collection of documentary films produced by STEPS, a Cape Town-based non-profit media company that works in the documentary space in Africa, and connects filmmakers, broadcasters, funders and community-based organizations through the power of documentary film.
