GREAT OAKS

Great Oaks Charter School New York City (GO-NYC) is located on Manhattan's culturally rich and diverse Lower East Side. We opened our doors in 2013. Our students are provided with a high-quality, rigorous education, which includes foreign languages and the arts. GO-NYC currently serves students in grades 6-8, growing into a 6-12. GO-NYC High School opens its doors in August 2021 with 9th grade and adds a grade each year until we are a fully operating 6-12 option for New York City families... The mission of GO-NYC High School is to graduate students who will shape the world, not be defined by it. Our approach is organized around the design principles of Mastery, Leadership and Community, providing challenging academics with a well-rounded approach to the whole child. We combine project-based learning, an advanced curriculum, and supplementary tutorial support to maximize student agency.
