NCT

The NCT was founded in 2004 in Heidelberg in collaboration with the German Cancer Research Center (DKFZ) and the Heidelberg University Hospital (UKHD). The German Cancer Aid (Deutsche Krebshilfe) funds the NCT Heidelberg as an Oncology Center of Excellence. Since 2015, a second site for the NCT beside Heidelberg has been under development in Dresden... The National Center for Tumor Diseases (NCT) in Heidelberg combines outstanding patient care with excellent cancer research. Our aim is to translate the latest research results into better treatment and prevention strategies as fast as possible... The NCT Heidelberg stands for personalized cancer medicine. Molecular and immunological investigations can identify changes in tumors that are relevant for cancer formation and treatment. Our aim is to use this knowledge to develop tailor-made precise treatment procedures for all patients.
