Hilbert's Electric, llc was established in 2010 by Jack Hilbert, a Norwich Tech graduate. He started wiring residential homes in 1979, but found the challenges of commercial and industrial wiring more rewarding. Jack worked as a commercial and then industrial electrician for ten years before moving on to high voltage. In 1991 he started work at AES Thames a co-generation power plant in Montville Connecticut. The next eighteen years he spent working as a Maintenance Electrician, Mechanic, and Project Manager for AES... We are a family run business. Jack Hilbert is a licensed E1 Master Electrician with over thirty years experience working in the electrical trade. Kate (Jack's wife) helps with paperwork, and maintains the business website... Jack was born and raised in Mystic Connecticut, attended Broadway Elementary School going on to Norwich Technical High School, and Three Rivers Community College. He and his wife make their home in Mystic, a short distance from where he grew up...
